Permits issued

  • Vista St. Clair Apartments LLC received a $1.1 million building permit to remove and replace the existing storefront at 1000 S.W. Vista Ave. in Goose Hollow. The hallways on each floor will be refinished, and the plaza deck will be remodeled. Pavers, planters and other amenities will be added. The applicant is Leeb Architects and the contractor is R&H Construction. The building was constructed in 1953, according to PortlandMaps.com.
  • Heights LLC of Portland received a $29,000 permit for a tenant improvement changing the occupancy at 904 N.E. Couch St. from salon to nightclub. A seismic upgrade will bring the building up to current code, and a men’s restroom will be added. The applicant is Michael Shea.
  • Ball Parc Properties LLC was issued a $4.3 million permit to build a four-story mixed-use building at 921 N.W. 21st Ave. in the Northwest District. The ground floor will have two retail spaces, with 27 apartment units spread across floors 2-4. The applicant is FFA Architecture and the contractor is LCG Pence.
  • Everett Custom Homes Inc. (Vic Remmers) received an $800,000 permit to build a three-story, six-unit apartment building at 1526 N. Holman St. in the Arbor Lodge neighborhood. The builder is Everett Custom Homes Inc. The six-plex was designed by Iselin Architects.

  • CH Realty VII-WPC I Portland Columbia Self Storage of Phoenix, Ariz. is pursuing a $2.5 million permit for a change of occupancy at 554 N. Columbia Blvd. in the Piedmont neighborhood. Space will be added and the interior will be converted to conditioned storage with a small office. The applicant is Robert Kubicek Architect.
  • Mehran Enayati of Portland is seeking a building permit to construct a four-story apartment building with 15 dwelling units at 5454 N.E. 14th Place near the Alberta Arts District.
  • Pearl Block 136 LLC is pursuing a $650,000 deferred submittal for exterior metal panels at 1250 N.W. Kearney St. in the Pearl District. The applicant is Katie Hoyt of Portland and the contractor is Andersen Construction.
  • Dozer Construction LLC of Portland is pursuing a $585,990 permit to build a two-story, seven-unit apartment building at 9525 N. Lombard St. in St. Johns. The applicant and contractor is Dozer Construction.
