Permits issued

• Senior Haven Residential Care Facility LLC was issued a $2.6 million permit to add to an existing care facility at 6439 S.E. 122nd Ave. in Pleasant Valley. Twenty-seven rooms and a dining area will be added to the south side of the facility. The contractor is NW Specialty Construction and the architect is EPR Design LLC.

• United Way of the Columbia-Willamette was issued a $1.2 million permit for a tenant improvement for an existing tenant at 619 S.W. 11th Ave. in downtown. The project will include removal and addition of partition walls and new stairs and restrooms. The applicant is DAO Architecture and the contractor is Precision Construction.

• The Port of Portland was issued a $1.5 million permit to demolish the old Gate Gourmet building at the Portland Airport. The removal of the 30,000-square-foot building is to make way for a 100,000-square-foot air center. The applicant and contractor is Centrex Construction.

• Couch9 LLC received a $483,000 permit for a deferred submittal for interior metal stud walls and ceilings, and another deferred submittal for $545,739 in fiberglass windows. The applicant is Brian Layman and the contractor is Walsh Construction.

• Bonita M. Polich of Seattle received a $1.6 million permit to build a three-story, 19-unit apartment building at 6015 S.W. Virginia Ave. in South Portland. The contractor is Grove Development Inc. of Portland.

• UDG C Street Annex LLC was issued a $500,000 permit to build a four-story, 30-unit apartment building with ground-floor retail space at 2350 S.E. 37th Ave. in the Richmond neighborhood. The applicant is Urban Development Group of Beaverton and the builder is SK Hoff Construction LLC.

• The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office River Patrol received a $600,000 permit to build a wood-framed, metal-sided boathouse with Styrofoam floats and steel frame at 2220 N.W. Front Ave. in the Northwest District. The applicant is LRS and the builder is 2KG Contractors Inc.

• Chevron USA Inc. was issued an $840,600 permit to build foundations for two pre-fabricated modular enclosures at 5333 N.W. Doane Ave. in the Northwest Industrial District. The architect is Sunoco Partners Marketing and Terminals LP and the contractor is GH McCulloch Inc. of Tualatin.

• The Port of Portland and EAN Holdings LLC, dba Enterprise Rent-A-Car, were issued a $44.5 million building permit to build a car rental office, fueling and car wash facilities, a maintenance shop and a storage tank area at Portland International Airport. The first floor is 158,600 square feet and the second floor is 156,810 square feet. The contractor is Hoffman Construction.

• The Port of Portland was issued a $5.7 million permit to build a 122,720-square-foot distribution center at 10101 N.E. Alderwood Road and a $6.2 million permit to build a 134,000-square-foot distribution center at 6520 N.E. Mt. St. Helens Ave. The applicant is Group Mackenzie and the builder is Perlo Construction.

• Portland General Electric was issued a $668,722 permit to add fire walls to the Marquam substation project at 2521 S.W. Water Ave., and a $119,111 permit to add a screen wall. The applicant is David Evans and Associates and the contractor is PGE.

• Lipt SW Fifth Ave LLC is pursuing a $2.3 million permit to remodel the food court at 888 S.W. Fifth Ave. in downtown. The applicant is RSI Group Inc.

• UAA Yamhill LLC is pursuing a $476,238 permit to perform a tenant improvement and add a roof at 1137 S.W. Yamhill St. The contractor is Yorke & Curtis Inc.

• 4310 Building LLC is pursuing a $495,000 permit to perform a tenant improvement on the third floor of the building at 4310 S.W. Macadam Ave. in South Portland. The architect is Soderstrom Architects and the builder is Cherokee Construction SVC.

• Madison-MF Hoyt OR LLC of San Francisco is pursuing a deferred submittal for $659,000 of vinyl windows for the project at 535 N.W. 11th Ave. in the Pearl District. The applicant is Howard S. Wright of Portland and the contractor is Balfour Beatty Construction of Dallas.

• DEZ Development of Clackamas is pursuing a $650,378 permit to build a six-unit apartment building at 1904 S.E. Tacoma St. in Sellwood-Moreland. The applicant is Mentrum Architecture and the builder is UKA Construction.
• St. John-4 LLC of Portland is pursuing an $800,000 permit for a deferred submittal for post-tension concrete at 7428 N. Charleston Ave. The applicant and contractor is R&H Construction.
