Andrew Strahler recently joined Geotechnical Resources Inc. as a staff engineer after completing his doctorate in civil engineering at Oregon State University. His research focused on the working stress behavior of mechanically stabilized earth walls and included 3-D true triaxial testing and complex finite difference numerical modeling. Since 2010, Strahler has been active in the ASCE Geo-Institute Graduate Student Organization, serving as president (2011-2012), secretary (2012-2013) and social chairman (2013-2016).
