Dave Backen, director at Evergreen Consulting Group, has been elected to the Association of Energy Services Professionals鈥� board of directors for a three-year term. AESP is a national association dedicated to improving the delivery and implementation of energy efficiency, energy management and distributed renewable resources. With 31 years of experience in the energy efficiency industry, Backen has been an active AESP member since 2009. He has served as a speaker at AESP conferences, served as a committee co-chairman and co-authored articles for the organization鈥檚 national magazine. At Evergreen Consulting Group, he creates, implements and manages energy efficiency programs for utilities and energy organizations across the country.
