Permits issued

  • XPO Properties of Portland was issued a $16 million permit to build a six-story, five-over-one building at 2121 N.W. Raleigh St. The building will have 161 residential units and ground-floor retail space. The applicant is GBD Architects.
  • XPO Properties was issued a $58 million permit for a 14-story mixed-use building at 1721 N.W. 21st Ave. The building will have 224 apartments, one level of retail space and two levels of subgrade parking. The applicant is GBD Architects.

Permit intakes

  • Madison 34 Ray LLC of Portland is pursuing a $750,000 permit for a tenant improvement at 1704 N.E. 26th Ave. The project will add partition walls to create new office spaces and family restrooms. The applicant is Iselin Architects and the contractor is LCG Pence.
  • Widmer Brothers Brewing of Portland is pursuing a $500,000 permit to change occupancy to accommodate new fermentation, add basement access and replace the storefront at 2519 N. Mississippi Ave. in the Eliot neighborhood. The architect is Mark Garvey Architect and the contractor is LCG Pence.
  • Citycraft Development LLC of Portland is pursuing a $1.6 million permit for a three-story, 32-unit apartment building at 4620 N. Maryland Ave. in the Overlook neighborhood. The applicant is City Craft Development and the contractor is Dozer Construction.
  • Mississippi Avenue Apartments LLC of Wilsonville is pursuing a $612,000 permit on a deferred submittal for an unbonded post-tension system at 777 N. Cook St. in the Boise neighborhood. Marathon Construction Services of Wilsonville is both the applicant and the contractor.
  • KC-1 LLC of Portland is pursuing a $591,356 permit for a new two-story, seven-unit apartment building at 7031 N. Mohawk Ave. in Cathedral Park. The site currently has a 112-year-old single-family residence. The applicant is City Craft Development and contractor is Dozer Construction.
  • Tel Industry LLC of Portland is pursuing a $4.7 million permit to build a five-story mixed-use building at 4018 N. Williams Ave. in the Boise neighborhood. The building will have four stories containing 64 residential apartments. The contractor is VWR Development.
  • Beaverton-based entities Sackhoff Family LLC, Sackhoff Enterprises LLC and UDG Nehalem LLC are pursuing an $8 million permit to build a four-story, 61-unit apartment building at 1637 S.E. Nehalem St. in the Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood.
  • Portland Parks and Recreation is pursuing a $650,000 permit for a new park structure at 210 S.W. Park Ave. in the Pearl District. The installation will include swings, benches, drinking fountains and exterior lighting.
