Permits issued

  • The Oregon State Board of Higher Education was issued a $600,000 permit on a deferred submittal for exterior wood cladding at 631 S.W. Harrison St. in downtown. The applicant is Western Partitions.
  • The state of Oregon was issued a $1.5 million permit to perform an interior demolition at 611 S.W. Campus Drive in the Homestead neighborhood. The applicant is PKA Architects and the contractor is Turner Construction Company.
  • KOZ 216X SW Yamhill LLC of Snohomish, Washington, was issued a $1.5 million permit to build a four-story, 30-unit apartment building at 2165 S.W. Yamhill St. in Goose Hollow. The applicant is KOZ Development and the contractor is Seabold Construction.
  • Milan Skoro and Rosanda Skoro were issued a $670,000 permit to build an 83,000-square-foot unheated warehouse at 1810 S.E. Franklin St. in the Brooklyn neighborhood. The applicant is Rhiza A+D and the contractor is Klingensmith Construction.
  • 1611 Bybee Investors LLC was issued a $785,000 permit to build a one-story mixed-use building with two tenant spaces at 1611 S.E. Bybee Blvd. in Sellwood-Moreland. The applicant is Kevin Cooley Architect and the contractor is Team Construction.

Permit intakes

  • Happy Mist LLC, Peter A. Snoey and JB Powell LLC are pursuing a $1.4 million permit for a tenant improvement to build a new Starbucks at 2880 S.E. Powell Blvd. in Creston-Kenilworth. The contractor has yet to be selected.
  • Perrl LLC is pursuing a $4.5 million permit on a deferred submittal for steel joists at 7000 N. Cutter Circle in the Overlook neighborhood. The applicant and contractor is R&H Construction.
  • EOSH/SB Portland LLC of Santa Ana, California, is seeking a $1 million permit to alter the interior at 621 S.W. Fifth Ave. in downtown. The applicant is Bora Architects.
  • XPO Properties Inc. is pursuing a $487,000 permit on a deferred submittal for post-tension concrete at 1721 N.W. 21st Ave. in Northwest Portland. The applicant is ASI and the contractor is JBA LLC.
  • David M. French and Shelley Cavanaugh are pursuing a $1 million permit to build a three-story, 15-unit apartment building at 5515 N.E. 17th Ave. in the Vernon area. The applicant is CIDA and the contractor is I&E Construction.
  • Everett Custom Homes is pursuing a $700,000 permit to build a three-story six-plex at 7721 S.E. Alder St. in the Montavilla neighborhood. The contractor is Everett Custom Homes.
  • Amstar/KOZ Portland LLC of Denver is pursuing a $7.6 million permit to build a six-story, 128-unit apartment building at 1015 N.W. 16th Ave. The applicant is KOZ Development and the contractor has yet to be selected.
  • The Hollywood 12 LLC is pursuing a $1.4 million permit to build a three-story, 12-unit apartment building at 1724 N.E. 45th Ave. in Hollywood. The applicant is DECA Architecture.
  • The Port of Portland and the Portland Development Commission are pursuing a $3.6 million permit to build a three-story office building at 9109 N.E. Cascades Parkway near Portland International Airport. The applicant is Scott | Edwards Architecture and the contractor is Perlo Construction.
