Permits issued

  • Lipt SW Fifth Ave LLC of Chicago was issued a $2.3 million permit to remodel the food court at Pioneer Tower at 888 S.W. Fifth Ave. in downtown. The applicant is RSI Group of Costa Mesa, California, and the contractor is Western Construction Services of Vancouver, Washington.
  • Block 15 LLC was issued a $500,000 permit for a tenant improvement for a first-time restaurant tenant at 1015 N.W. Northrup St., unit C-4. The applicant is Streitberger Home Design and the contractor is BNK Construction.
  • Lair Hill Investors LLC was issued a $960,678 permit for a value-added revision to an infill floor at a two-story commercial building at 3207 S.W. First Ave. The applicant is David Rodeback and the contractor is Ascent Design Build Inc.
  • Milwaukie Partners LLC was issued a $2.2 million permit to build a three-story, 30-unit apartment building on two lots at 7510 S.E. Milwaukie Ave. in Sellwood. The applicant is CIDA Architects and the contractor is I&E Construction.
  • Tzantarmas Properties LLC was issued a $10.7 million permit to build affordable housing at 5990 S.E. 92nd Ave. in Lents. The building will have five stories and 70 units. Four of the floors will have residential units and the ground floor will be retail space. The applicant is Ankrom Moisan Architects and the contractor is Urban Edge Builders.

  • D&L Miller & Associates was issued a $923,268 permit to build a four-story, seven-unit condo building with parking at 5321 N.E. Irving St. in the Rose City Park neighborhood. The applicant is Morton Building Design and the contractor is Proactive Development.
  • The Portland Housing Bureau was issued a $5.8 million foundation permit to perform excavation and add below-ground foundation at 600 N.W. Hoyt St. in Old Town Chinatown. The applicant is ZGF Architects and the contractor is JE Dunn Construction.
  • Community Vision Inc. was issued a $4.7 million permit to build a four-story office building at 2475 S.E. Ladd Ave. in the Hosford-Abernethy neighborhood. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits and the contractor is Grand & Benedicts Construction.
  • Walsh Holdings LLC was issued a $2.1 million permit to build a 28,000-square-foot truck maintenance and office building at 5455 N.E. 109th Ave. in the Parkrose neighborhood. The applicant is Mackenzie and the contractor is Building Structures Inc.

  • Jantzen Dynamic Corp. of Columbia, S.C., is pursuing an $853,840 permit for a tenant improvement for a new retail store at 1805 N. Tomahawk Island Drive on Hayden Island. The applicant is Scott Gibson Architect and the contractor is Deacon Corp.
  • Nez C Hallett III is pursuing a $2.25 million permit to build a four-story, 19-unit apartment building at 1823 S.E. 50th Ave. in the Richmond neighborhood. The applicant is Otak Architecture and the contractor has not been selected yet.
