Permits issued

• Apostolic Faith Mission of Portland was issued a $1.8 million permit to replace a church building damaged by fire and rebuild a two-story structure at 5414 S.E. Duke St. in Brentwood-Darlington. The contractor is Skyline Construction.

• A $30.5 million permit was issued for completion of the final phase of the Stott Center renovation at Portland State University at 930 S.W. Hall St. in downtown. The work will include interior construction and finishes. The contractor is Fortis Construction and the applicant is Woofter Architecture.

• A $5.4 million permit was issued for construction of a five-story, 52-unit residential building at 10506 E. Burnside St. in the Hazelwood neighborhood. The East Burnside Apartments will have 15 tuck-under parking spaces. The architect is Ankrom Moisan Architects and the contractor is Pavilion Construction NW.

Permit intakes

• Costco Wholesale Corp. is pursuing a $744,277 permit to expand a tire center at the Costco store at 4849 N.E. 138th Ave. in the Argay neighborhood. The applicant is MG2 Architects and the contractor is Robinson Construction.

• 120 Clay Development LLC of Vancouver, Washington, is seeking a $6.4 million permit for a two-floor tenant improvement to accommodate a new tenant and a change of occupancy at 120 S.E. Clay St. in Hosford-Abernethy. The applicant is Tom Schmidt and the contractor is Turner Construction.

• Vasco Properties of Seattle is pursuing a $1.2 million permit for a tenant improvement at 3245 N.W. Front Ave. in the Northwest Industrial neighborhood. The scope involves demolishing interior walls and adding new offices. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits and the contractor is Bremik Construction.

• Parth LLC of Vancouver, Washington, is seeking a $650,000 permit to build a two-story, six-unit apartment building at 8248 S.E. Flavel St. in the Lents neighborhood. The applicant is Bob Schatz Co. and the contractor has not been selected yet.

• The Portland Bureau of Parks and Recreation is pursuing an $813,500 permit to renovate Ventura Park at 11339 S.E. Stark St. in the Hazelwood neighborhood. The work will involve adding a loo and walkways and replacing playground equipment.

• Ross J. Silicia and Neola E. Silicia of Vancouver, Washington, are pursuing an $11.5 million permit to build a four-story self-storage facility at 627 S.E. Division Place in Hosford-Abernethy. The applicant is ARCO/Murray and the contractor is ARCO Murray National Construction Co.
