Permits issued

  • SHP Portland 1st National LLC of San Francisco was issued a $1 million permit for a tenant improvement to suit an existing tenant at 401 S.W. Fifth Ave. in downtown Portland. The work will include new secured entries, a package room, a bike room, a kitchenette, phone equipment and an art installation. The applicant is ZGF Architects and the contractor is Swinerton Builders.
  • Mark R. Madden was issued a $1.7 million permit to build a three-story apartment structure with surface parking at 7180 N. Leavitt Ave. in Cathedral Park. The applicant is Studio 3 Architecture and the builder is WDC Construction.
  • Dozer Construction was issued a $585,990 permit to build a two-story, seven-unit apartment building at 9525 N. Lombard St. in St. Johns. The applicant is Dozer Construction and the contractor is Citycraft Development.

Permit intakes

  • School District No. 1 is seeking a $3.2 million permit for a deferred submittal at Grant High School, at 2245 N.E. 36th Ave. in Grant Park. The applicant is Mahlum Architects and the contractor is Andersen Construction.
  • SDS Co. is pursuing a $1.4 million permit for an interior tenant improvement at Andersen Construction headquarters, at 6712 N. Cutter Circle in the Overlook neighborhood. The work will include constructing a new break room on the first floor and new offices on the second. The applicant is YBA Architects and the contractor is Andersen Construction.
  • The Port of Portland is seeking a $1 million permit to perform a tenant improvement at the retail space in the 10245 N.E. Cascades Parkway near Portland International Airport. The applicant is Callison Architects.
  • XPO Properties is pursuing a $534,000 permit on a deferred submittal for post-tension concrete at 1721 N.W. 21st Ave. in the Northwest District. The applicant is ASI and the contractor is JBA LLC.
