The city of Portland was issued a $104 million permit and a $46 million permit to continue construction of Washington Park reservoir improvements. The scope of work covered by the permits includes excavation for the new reservoir, constructing tieback and MSE walls and seismic measures, and building a buried drinking water reservoir with a cascading reflecting pool on top. The applicant is the Portland Water Bureau and the contractor is Hoffman Construction.
