Permits issued

  • TriMet was issued a $2.3 million permit to perform interior improvements to the Washington Park MAX station at 4027 S.W. Canyon Road in the Arlington Heights neighborhood. The contractor is Balfour Beatty Construction of Dallas, Texas.
  • Fern Valley Properties LLC was issued a $1 million permit to build a three-story apartment building with 10 units at 4310 N. Maryland Ave. in the Overlook neighborhood. The applicant is Edge Development and the contractor is Elliott Properties.
  • LCHS Enterprises was issued an $11.8 million permit to build a five-story, 119-unit apartment building at 8220 S.E. Sixth Ave. in the Sellwood neighborhood. The contractor is Essex Construction.
  • Burnside Investors LLC of Phoenix was issued a $37 million permit to build a six-story, 197-unit apartment building at 80 N.E. 14th Ave. in the Kerns neighborhood. The applicant is Simpl Home Designs and the contractor is Alliance Pacific Northwest Builders LLC.
  • Rose City Development Inc. was issued a $2 million permit (no occupancy) to build a tilt-up concrete building at 4825 N.E. 185th Ave. in Sommerset West-Elmonica South. The contractor is 2KG Contractors Inc.

  • Rose City Church of the Nazarene is pursuing a permit for a $965,441 tenant improvement to convert a funeral home at 225 N.E. 80th Ave. in Montavilla into a church. The applicant is Woodblock Architecture and the contractor is Deacon Construction.
  • Hawthorne 31 Apartments LLC is pursuing a $621,663 permit for a tenant improvement for a medical clinic at 1515 S.E. 31st Ave. in Hosford-Abernethy. The applicant is Peterson Kolberg and Associates and the contractor is Lease Crutcher Lewis.
  • The Port of Portland is pursuing a $619,899 permit to perform a tenant improvement for a retail space-salon at 9721 N.E. Cascades Parkway near the Portland International Airport.
  • Casacadia Behavioral Healthcare Inc. is seeking a $4.6 million permit on a deferred submittal for prefabricated wood joists and beams at 3080 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in the Eliot neighborhood. The applicant and contractor is Colas Construction.
  • TriMet is pursuing a $5.4 million permit for construction of an employee building that will include dispatch and training areas, offices and vehicle storage. The contractor is Skanska.
  • 87 Stark Street LLC is seeking a $25 million permit for new core and shell of a five-story building at 87 S.E. Stark St. in Buckman. The applicant is Works Partnership Architecture.
  • Front & Pine LLC is pursuing a $13.6 million permit for a deferred submittal for curtainwalls at 1455 S.W. Broadway in downtown. The applicant is Howard S. Wright Construction and the contractor is Balfour Beatty Construction of Dallas, Texas.
