  • Early assistance is sought for a proposed 38-unit building at 4040 S.E. Division St. It would include affordable housing units, but no parking. An existing single-story retail building at the site would be demolished. The applicant is Armin Quilici of Quilici Architecture & Design Inc., and the owner is Tad Wille. The applicant is also seeking early assistance for a 32-unit apartment complex with affordable housing at 3212 S.E. Division St. A former single-family home at the site now used for commercial space would be demolished. The owner is 3212 Division LLC.
  • A Type III conditional use review is requested for changes to a church building at 12707 N.E. San Rafael St. The existing building measures approximately 17,570 square feet; the church would like to demolish and replace approximately 8,865 square feet of space, mostly within the existing footprint. The applicant is David Brittell of Longview, Washington-based Brittell Architecture, and the owner is Oregon Conference of Adventist Churches.
  • A Type II design review is sought for the removal and replacement of brick tile cladding and windows along the east elevation of a six-story mixed-use building at 1725 S.W. Columbia Ave. The applicant is Erik Lawrence of RDH Building Sciences Inc., and the owner is RSGF Collins Circle LLC.
  • A Type II design review is requested for the addition of a new storefront system to the World Trade Center Portland building at 121 S.W. Salmon St. The project would include replacement and realignment of a portion of the existing storefront on the building’s south façade, and installation of an approximately two-foot-by-two-foot ventilation louver on the west facade above an existing corridor exit. The applicant is Jennifer Kimura of VLMK Engineering + Design, and the owner is IEH Portland LLC.
