Permits issued

• GL-Sandy34 Real Estate LLC was issued a $780,684 permit for a tenant improvement and a renovation at 3434 N.E. Sandy Blvd. in the Laurelhurst neighborhood. The work will include new retail space, restaurant space, office space and a mezzanine. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits and the contractor is Deacon Construction.

• School District No. 40 was issued a $540,000 permit to replace all windows and repair exterior walls at Lincoln Park Elementary School, at 13200 S.E. Lincoln St. The school was built in 1962. The applicant is BBL Architects and the contractor is Par Tech Construction.

• Steiner Corporation of Salt Lake City was issued a $500,000 permit to install a conveyor for laundry and tanks in the wastewater treatment area at Alsco American Linen at 1441 N. Columbia Blvd. in the Kenton neighborhood. The applicant is Alsco and the contractor is Merco Mechanical Inc.

• Mississippi Apartments LLC of Las Vegas was issued a $2.7 million permit for excavation and shoring at 3309 N. Mississippi Ave. in the Boise neighborhood. The applicant is Holst Architecture and the contractor is Fore Construction.

• Couch9 LLC was issued a $629,314 permit on a deferred submittal for window walls at the Couch9 project at 135 N.W. Ninth Ave. in the Pearl District. The applicant is Brian Layman and the contractor is Walsh Construction.

• Quimby Apartments Holdings LP was issued a $499,114 permit on a deferred submittal for a mechanical parking lift at 1885 N.W. Quimby St. in the Northwest District. The applicant and contractor is Bremik Construction.

• AV Pacific LLC was issued a $666,438 permit to build a six-unit apartment building at 5025 N. Minnesota Ave. in the Overlook neighborhood. The applicant and contractor is AV Pacific LLC. (Last year, AV Pacific owner Adrian Vasile lost a similar project nearby to an overnight fire.)

• Portland Hotel Ownership LLC of Syracuse, N.Y., was issued a $665,850 permit on a deferred submittal for exterior metal stud framing at the Porter Hotel at 1355 S.W. Second Ave. in downtown. The applicant is Trent Fisher and the contractor is Widewaters Construction.

Permit intakes

• Executive 1801 LLC was issued six permits totaling $2.8 million to remove and replace windows and siding at the Executive 1801 apartments at 1801 N.E. 162nd Ave. in the Wilkes neighborhood. The applicant and contractor is Summit RWP Inc.

• Madave LLC was issued a $1.3 million permit for a tenant improvement to build new office space in the basement at 1120 S.E. Madison St. in the Buckman neighborhood. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits and the contractor is Siteworks Inc.

• Park Office LLC of Washington, D.C., was issued $1.2 million in permits for two projects on Northwest Front Avenue in Northwest Portland. The applicant and contractor is Lease Crutcher Lewis.
