Permits issued

• Portland State University was issued a $457,695 permit on a deferred submittal for exterior metal stud framing at Portland State University’s Stott Center, at 930 S.W. Hall St. in downtown. The applicant is Randy Clunas of the Harver Company and the contractor is Fortis Construction.

• 134 Taylor LLC was issued a $650,000 permit for an alteration of the core and shell of a warehouse building at 134 S.E. Taylor St. in the Buckman neighborhood. The applicant is Adam Christie of Christie Architecture and the contractor is Deform NW LLC.

• KC-1 LLC was issued a $591,356 permit to build a two-story, seven-unit apartment building at 7045 N. Mohawk Ave. in the Cathedral Park neighborhood. The applicant is Meron Alemseghed of contractor CityCraft Development LLC.

• Burnside General Stores LLC was issued a $591,356 permit to build a two-story, seven-unit apartment building at 7025 N. Mohawk Ave. in the Cathedral Park neighborhood. The applicant is Meron Alemseghed of contractor CityCraft Development LLC.

• The Portland Housing Bureau was issued an $18 million permit to build a five-story, 80-unit multifamily building with ground-level retail space at 3340 N.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in the Eliot neighborhood. The applicant is Ben White of Carleton Hart Architecture and the contractor is Colas Construction.

• Get R Done LLC was issued a $950,000 permit to construct a three-story mixed-use building at 3334 S.E. Belmont St. in the Eliot neighborhood. The applicant is Valerie Hunter of VH Development LLC and the contractor is Wilson Company Contractors. The new building would replace one built in 1889.

• Inspection is under way for a $4.5 million permit to build the core and shell of a two-story building at 5005 N.E. Sandy Blvd. in the Rose City Park neighborhood. The applicant is Ben Rippe of SERA Architects, and the contractor is AC Schommer & Sons Inc.

Permit intakes

• EOSII/SB Portland LLC of Santa Ana, California, is seeking a $10.3 million permit to alter the former Macy’s department store space at 621 S.W. Fifth Ave. in downtown to ground-floor retail and creative office space. The contractor is Turner Construction.

• Alpina Properties LLC is pursuing a $1 million permit to build a three-story, 15-unit apartment complex at 6103 S.E. Cora St. in the Foster-Powell neighborhood. The contractor has yet to be selected.

• Pearl District Apartments LLC of Eugene is pursuing a $9.5 million permit to build a seven-story, 68-unit apartment building with ground-level office space at 1470 N.W. Overton St. in the Pearl District. The contractor is Essex General Construction.

• UDG Yukon LLC is seeking an $8 million permit for a four-story, 54-unit apartment complex at 5965 S.E. Milwaukie Ave. in the Sellwood-Moreland area. The applicant is UDG Umatilla and the contractor is SK Hoff Construction.

• Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Portland, Oregon is seeking a $1.2 million permit to build a one-story, 7,415-square-foot fellowship center at 3926 S.E. 11th Ave. The applicant is Scot Sutton of SG Architecture LLC.
