Permits issued

• Portland Public Schools was issued a $6.3 million permit to begin work on the modernization of Grant High School at 2245 N.E. 36th Ave. in the Grant Park neighborhood. The permit covers abatement and demolition work on the school, sections of which were built as early as the 1920s. The designer is Mahlum Architects and the contractor is the joint venture of Colas Construction and Andersen Construction.

• Sandycrest Partners LLC was issued 11 separate $96,955 permits to replace windows on residential units on Northeast Sandycrest Terrace in the Rose City Park area. The applicant and contractor is GLV Enterprises Inc.

• Portland State University was issued a $1.6 million permit on a deferred submittal for glazed aluminum curtainwalls and aluminum framed entrances and storefronts for the remodel of the Peter W. Stott Center at 930 S.W. Hall St. in downtown. The applicant and contractor is Fortis Construction.

• Oregon Health and Science University was issued a $2 million permit for shoring design to allow for demolition of the building at 611 S.W. Campus Drive in the Homestead neighborhood. The architect is PKA Architects and the builder is Turner Construction Company.

• 10200 North Lombard LLC was issued a $1.5 million permit to turn a warehouse into a marijuana grow facility at 10160 N. Lombard St. in St. Johns. The new space will include grow rooms and areas for drying and trimming. The builder is Dan Martin Design Build Contractors.

• Jan D. Bruun-Petersen received an $8.1 million permit for the Modera Davis project at 205 N.W. 10th Ave. in the Pearl District. The applicant is SERA Architects and the builder is MCRT PNW Construction.

• BCMC Albina LLC was issued a $1 million permit to build a three-story, five-unit apartment building at 46 N.E. Tillamook St. in the Eliot neighborhood. The applicant and contractor is Green Hammer.

• BCMC Albina LLC was issued a $648,000 permit to build a two-story, three-unit apartment building at 28 N.E. Tillamook St. in the Eliot neighborhood. The applicant and contractor is Green Hammer.

• BCMC Albina LLC was issued a $936,000 permit to build a three-story, five-unit apartment building at 40 N.E. Tillamook St. in the Eliot neighborhood. The applicant and contractor is Green Hammer.

• BCMC Albina LLC was issued a $540,000 permit to build a three-story, three-unit apartment building at 34 N.E. Tillamook St. in the Eliot neighborhood. The applicant and contractor is Green Hammer.

• 333 SW Park LLC is pursuing a $2.5 million permit for a core and shell seismic upgrade at 333 S.W. Park Ave. in downtown. The applicant is Beebe Skidmore Architects and the contractor is Yorke & Curtis.

• 6D LLC is seeking a $1.1 million permit for a tenant improvement at 7919 S.E. Foster Road in Foster-Powell. The applicant is Axis Design Group and the builder is At Grade Construction.

• Towne Storage Properties LLC of El Segundo, California, is seeking a $3.6 million permit for a full-building tenant improvement at 17 S.E. Third Ave. in the Buckman neighborhood. The applicant is Mackenzie and the contractor is Fortis Construction.

• Hood Works Buildings LLC is pursuing a $2.4 million permit to build a four-story office building with below-ground parking at 5615 S.W. Hood Ave. in South Portland. The contractor has yet to be selected.

• A $5.5 million permit has been filed to build a six-story commercial building with first-floor retail space at 840 N/S.E. Third Ave. in the Buckman neighborhood. The contractor has yet to be selected. (Editor’s note: Information for this permit has been changed to show the correct address and an incorrect owner name has been removed.)

• NWSS 82nd Self Storage LLC is seeking an $8 million permit to build a three-story self-storage facility at 2922 S.E. 82nd Ave. in the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood. The applicant is Mackenzie and the contractor has yet to be selected.

• Portland General Electric & Company is pursuing a $.3 million permit to build a new maintenance garage with a mezzanine in the 3700 block of Southeast 17th Avenue in the Brooklyn neighborhood. The applicant is FFA Architecture and Interiors.
