• Early assistance is requested for a new four-story mixed-use building with approximately 37 units at 4242 S.E. Milwaukie Ave. The applicant is Terry Amundson of Koble Creative, and the owner is Cora 4242 LLC.

• A pre-application conference is pending to discuss a Type III conditional use review to establish a waste-related use for a site at 701 N. Hunt St. The applicant proposed to operate a medical waste sterilization and 10-day hazardous waste transportation operation at the site. The waste-related activities would occur inside an existing building. The applicants are Wastech Inc. of Chicago and Jim Denson of Waste Management, and the owner is Wastech Inc.

• A Type II design review is sought for improvements to Oregon Public Broadcasting’s building at 7140 S.W. Macadam Ave. Proposed work includes demolition and rebuilding of the main building entryway to include new storefront doors and steel-framed canopies, cutting of three new openings into existing solid tilt-up panels at the west elevation, and installing matching insulated glass storefront windows into those three openings. The applicant is Michelle Startt of LRS Architects, and the owner is Oregon Public Broadcasting Foundation.

• A Type II historic resource review is pending for removal of fire escapes and standpipe from the Spalding Building at 319 S.W. Washington St. The applicant is Aaron Stanton of D&R Masonry Restoration, and the owner is Three Nineteen Washington LLC of Manchester, Vermont.
