Specht Development has sold a 492,554-square-foot industrial development for $56 million.
The buyer of the Interstate Crossroads Distribution Center was WPT Industrial Real Estate Investment Trust, a publicly traded company based in Toronto.
Specht in 2015 completed the industrial building at 16441 N.E. Cameron Blvd. along the Columbia River east of Portland International Airport.
The facility is leased by Staples and LKQ Corp., an auto-parts distributor.
Specht and financier Pacific Coast Capital Partners were represented by Jones Lang LaSalle‘s Capital Markets group in the airport-area sale. JLL managing directors Buzz Ellis, Mark Detmer and Bo Mills, Executive Vice President Paige Morgan and Vice President Ryan Sitov led the JLL team in the sale of distribution center.
Specht is now at work on Vista Logistics Park in Gresham, a 732,824-square-foot single-phase development.
Industrial vacancies have remained low, hovering around 3 percent, as e-commerce businesses and other industrial users have competed for properties near Portland’s urban core.
