| Sealed competitive bids for the construction of the PACKAGE 102-Steel Reinforcement: Cogeneration Pad, Generator Pad and Primary Filtration for the City of The Dalles Wastewater Treatment Plant Co-Gen Project will be received by Mortenson Construction at The Dalles Department of Public Works, 1215 West 1st Street, The Dalles, OR 97058 until 2:00 pm PDT on August 24, 2017. Sealed bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.
SCOPE: Steel Reinforcement. Furnish and install steel reinforcement for cogeneration pad (includes microturbine, chiller, siloxane removal skid, and H2S removal tank), generator pad, and primary filtration improvements. Bidders may download Bidding Documents from Daily Journal of Commerce Oregon Project Center and receive notifications of addenda. If you are unable to obtain copies via the abovereferenced platform, please contact the Mortenson Construction project team to arrange alternative delivery. A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 10:00 am in the Mortenson Field Office at The Dalles Wastewater Treatment Plant (105 Laughlin Street, The Dalles, OR 97058) followed by a project site tour. Bidders are encouraged to attend this meeting to view conditions of the site. PPE is required (hard hat, hard-soled shoes, safety vest). MORTENSON IS ACTING AS DESIGN-BUILDER FOR THE CITY OF THE DALLES. BIDS MUST BE SUBMITTED AS DICTATED IN THE INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS and BIDDER MANUAL IN THE CONTRACT BID DOCUMENTS.
