• Early assistance is requested for demolition of existing warehouse buildings at 7945 N.E. Alberta St. and replacing them with two new self-storage facilities with associated parking, utilities and landscaping. • Early assistance is sought for development of two residential buildings with basement parking on three tax lots at 836 S.W. Gibbs St. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, and the owner is Yoshida Real Estate Holdings XVIII LLC.

• Early assistance is requested to focus on setbacks for a proposed new apartment building at 2231 N.W. Pettygrove St. The applicant is Carter Case of Case Design Group, and the owner is Maria Rystadt.

• A pre-application conference is sought for subdivision of a 3.81-acre site at the southeast corner of Northeast 74th Avenue and Roselawn Street, into 22 single-family lots. The proposal includes the extension of Northeast 75th Avenue, additional widening of Northeast Roselawn Street, and the addition of Northeast Sumner Street. The applicant is Craig Smith of Bend-based SGS Development LLC, and the owner is Pyco LLC.

• A Type II environmental review is pending for the proposed replacement of a public bridge at 6739 S.E. 122nd Ave. The bridge currently is closed to vehicular traffic due to storm damage. The applicant is Cameron Glasgow of the Portland Bureau of Transportation, and the owner is Portland Fire & Rescue.

• A Type 1x historic resource review is pending for alterations to a 97-year-old retail building at 127 N.W. Third Ave., a non-contributing structure in both the Skidmore/Old Town Historic District and the New Chinatown/Japantown Historic District. Per a check sheet for a commercial building permit requested for a tenant improvement to the building, several alterations are needed: replacement of an existing storefront entry on Northwest Third Avenue with a new recessed storefront, installation of a new sign on the east elevation, modification of an existing sign on the north façade, and addition of a recessed exit door on the southeast corner of the building. The applicant is Jacqueline Peterson-Loomis of Portland Chinatown History Foundation, and the owners are Louis K C Lee and Hang Fong Lee.

• A Type III planned development review is sought for an 11-unit multi-dwelling development at 4905 N.E. Going St. The applicant is Jonathan Lundstrom of Birdsmouth Construction, and the owners are Stewart Sri Development LLC and Michael Parisien.
