is looking for a construction manager-general contractor to take on its in Oregon City.

The 20,000-square-foot building is intended to add laboratory and support space for science programs.

The project also includes expansion of the CCC transit center on the Oregon City campus and construction of a shared-use path connecting parts of campus. The DeJardin addition is budgeted to cost $7.5 million. Upgrades to the transit center should cost $1.7 million, and $100,000 is budgeted for the path.

The two-year college was founded in 1966 and today has its main campus in Oregon City and branches in Milwaukie and Wilsonville. Its student body has grown 41 percent in the past 10 years. Voters in the Clackamas Community College district approved in 2014 a $90 million bond program to construct four buildings needed to serve growing numbers of students.

The CM-GC will be selected by October, and the project is scheduled to finish by summer 2019.
