The project received design advice last month, and is scheduled for a second design advice review Oct. 5.
A Type III conditional use review is sought for improvements to the Mt. Tabor Central Maintenance Yard at 6325 S.E. Division St. The project is to include a new maintenance shop, a multimodal path connecting Southeast Division Street with 64th Avenue, and removal of two non-contributing structures. A Type III design review is pending for a renovation of the former Sears building at 1260 N.E. Lloyd Center. The project would convert the four-story building from a single-tenant anchor space to a multiple-tenant anchor space, with a new 14-screen theater to be built at the third level; a new third-level footprint would expand over the existing parking area to the south. Existing Sears levels one and two would become leasable space for multi-tenant retail and/or office uses. The project would add 21,179 total square feet to the building.
