  • Design advice is sought for a 161-unit affordable workforce multifamily development with 3,500 square feet of residential service/community space at 9747 N.E. Glisan St. The applicant is Bill Lanning of MWA Architects, and the owner is Gateway Affordable LLC. Members of Gateway Affordable LLC include Walsh Construction Co. Vice President and Chief Financial Officer John Wied, co-founder and board chairman Robert Walsh, and an LLC registered to Matt Leeding, the firm’s president.
  • Early assistance is sought for a proposal to divide a one-acre parcel at 4564 N.E. 72nd Ave. into seven lots; a public street expansion of Northeast 73rd Avenue is also proposed. The applicant is Sarah Radelet of Strata Land Use Planning, and the owners are Nancy Dieter and Lisa Mohr.

  • A pre-application conference is pending for removal of a property at 416 N.E. 76th Ave. from conditional use associated with an adjacent church to allow for a future property line adjustment, lot consolidation, and development of the site. The applicant is Vladimir Ozeruga of Cornice Group LLC, and the owner is Wilbert Hardy.
  • A pre-application conference is sought for additional parking, landscaping enhancements and an amphitheater at a previous street vacation location at 1404 S.E. Ankeny St. The applicant is Joel Paul of Imago Dei Community, and the owner is Imago Dei Ministries.
  • A pre-application conference is pending for partial demolition of the Artists Repertory Theatre building at 1515 S.W. Morrison St. The applicant seeks to reduce the three-quarters-block building to the south half-block, and create a mixed-use apartment project on the north half of the block. Retail space, a lobby and amenity space is proposed for the ground floor, with parking below grade. A separate project will include alterations and improvements to the theater building on the south half of the block. The applicants are Paul Jeffreys of Ankrom Moisan Architects and Michael Nagy of Wood Partners, and the owner is Artists Repertory Theatre.
  • A Type III design review is pending for developer Alamo Manhattan’s proposed construction of two new seven-story mixed-use buildings with ground-floor retail space, parking at the two lowest levels, and housing on the upper floors, at 3714 S.W. Macadam Ave. The applicants are Wade Johns of Dallas, Texas-based Alamo Manhattan Properties LLC and Jeancarlo Saenz of Dallas-based architecture firm Hensley Lamkin Rachel Inc. The owner is Fava LLC, which is registered to Doug Bean.
  • A Type II environmental review is sought for a self-storage development on an unimproved lot on Northeast Columbia Boulevard near 52nd Avenue. The project would consist of one multi-story building, five single-story buildings, and four RV/boat storage structures. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, and the owners are Linda Moody, and Craig Moody of CMKNB Properties LLC.
