Building permits issued

• A $1.52 million alteration permit was issued for replacement of all exterior windows except those on the ground floor of the Studio Building at 919 S.W. Taylor St. The applicant is Halla Hoffer of Peter Meijer Architect PC, the contractor is Johnson Project Solutions Inc., and the owner is TMT Development.

• A $10.154 million permit was issued for construction of a six-story apartment building with 112 units and tuck-under parking at 4111 N.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The applicant is Dan Williams of Faster Permits, the contractor is VWR Development LLC, and the owner is MLK West Apartments. VWR Development is led by developers Vic and Wally Remmers.

• A $1.316 million permit was issued for construction of a three-story, 18-unit apartment building with parking and associated site work at 255 S.E. 146th Ave. The applicant and contractor is Mladen Baricevic of Arbe Homes LLC.

Building permit intakes

• A $589,404 permit is under review for tenant improvements at 4917 N.E. 185th Ave., including the addition of a new mezzanine for open office space, and new partitions on the main floor to create restrooms, a server room and offices. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is 2KG Contractors Inc., and the owner is Marine Drive Business Center.

• Five permits totaling $675,000 are under review for removal of existing stairs and installation of new ones at an apartment complex at 1801 N.E. 162nd Ave. The applicant is James Riley of Certa Building Solutions, the contractor is Summit RWP Inc., and the owner is Executive 1801 LLC.

• A $2.2 million permit is under review for construction of a new three-story, 19-unit apartment building at 5320 S.E. Woodstock Blvd. The applicant is Gene Bolante of Studio 3 Architecture, the contractor is WDC Construction LLC, and the owner is Yen Nguyen.

• A $1.113 million permit is under review for construction of a three-story, 18-unit apartment building at 1805 N. Rosa Parks Way. The applicant is Nathan Arnold of Faster Permits, the contractor is UKA Construction LLC, and the owner is Dez Development LLC, which is registered to Slavik Dezhnyuk of Clackamas.

• A $1.2 million permit is under review for construction of a three-story, 19-unit apartment building at 1522 N. Sumner St. The applicant is Steve Fosler of Fosler Portland Architecture, the contractor is out to bid, and the owner is Alpina Properties LLC, also registered to Slavik Dezhnyuk of Clackamas.

• A $1.2 million permit is under review for construction of a new three-story, 19-unit apartment building at 1520 N. Emerson St. The applicant is Dez Development LLC, the contractor is to bid, and the owner is Alpina Properties LLC.

• A $1.234 million permit is under review on a deferred submittal for curtain walls, window walls and glass guardrails on Ruben J. Menashe Inc.’s four-story mixed-use building under construction at 4075 N. Williams Ave. The applicant is Dexter Parry of contractor Bremik Construction, and the owner is Rujax V LLC.

Facility permits issued

• A $925,000 alteration permit was issued for a roof replacement on Reed College’s Sports Center building at 3203 S.E. Woodstock Blvd. The entire roof structure is to be replaced with a new truss system and decking. Also, all exterior windows will be replaced. The applicant is Craig Gearheart, the contractor is Reimers & Jolivette Inc., and the owner is The Reed Institute.

• A $498,000 permit was issued for alterations to a Legacy Emanuel Medical Center building at 501 N. Graham St. The project will relocate a trauma services office and include demolition of walls, installation of new partitions to create office, waiting, conference and lounge spaces, and installation of new floors and finishes, electrical and plumbing items. The applicant is Warren Tyler of Peterson Kolberg and Associates, the contractor is Lease Crutcher Lewis, and the owner is Legacy Health System.

• A $1.48 million permit was issued for tenant improvements for Kittelson & Associates’ space in the Pacific Center building at 851 S.W. Sixth Ave. The applicant is Amalia Mohr of LRS Architects, the contractor is Balfour Beatty Construction LLC, and the owner is SFI 811 SW 6th Avenue LLC of San Francisco.

Facility permit intakes

• A $650,000 alteration permit is under review for site work at the Marquam Building at 2501 S.W. First Ave, including grading, restriping the parking lot, new retaining walls, paving, and fencing. The applicant is Michael Barrett of SERA Architects, the contractor is Turner Construction Company, and the owner is SW 1st Avenue-Company II LLC of Newport Beach, California.
