Building permits issued

• A $1.2 million new construction permit was issued for a three-story apartment building with 19 units at 1525 N. Webster St. The applicant is Steve Fosler of Fosler Portland Architecture, the contractor is Modern Northwest Inc., and the owner is 1525 N Webster LLC, which is registered to Slavik Dezhnyuk of Clackamas.

• A $39.788 million new construction permit is under inspection for a six-story, 266-unit apartment building with live-work units, parking and a leasing office at 1055 N. Anchor Way. The applicant is Charles Kidwell of Leeb Architects, and the owner is Harborsky LLC, which is registered to Eugene Labunsky of Lake Oswego-based West Coast Home Solutions.

• A $2.794 million new construction permit was issued for a three-story, 38-unit apartment building at 5401 S.E. Woodstock Blvd. The applicant is Mark Lisac of Lisac Brothers Construction Inc., and the owner is Patricia Nichols.

• A $550,000 permit was issued on a deferred submittal for a glass curtain wall for the Field Office project at 1895 N.W. Front Ave. The applicant is Nick Chaney of contractor Lease Crutcher Lewis, and the owner is Park Office LLC.

• A $675,000 permit was issued on a deferred submittal for combined plumbing racks and windshield washer fluid on a quick turn-around rental car facility under construction at 7300 N.E. Airport Way. The applicant is Geoff Decker of Hoffman Construction, and the owner is the Port of Portland.

Building permit intakes

• A $2.142 million addition permit is under review for a tenant improvement at the Yard building at 33 N.E. Third Ave. An existing spa/health club in the building will expand onto the building’s third and fifth floors. The applicant is Georgia Barnett, the contractor is Andersen Construction, and the owner is Yard Residences LLC of Morgan Hill, California.

• An $800,000 alteration permit is under review for improvements to a multifamily building at 5819 N.E. Glisan St. Work is to include removal of existing stucco and repair of water-damaged components, and replacement with a cementitious panel system. The applicant is Tripp Royce, and the owner is 5819 Glisan LLC, which is registered to the Seattle address of Security Properties.

• A $617,194 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement to a storage building at 3029 S.E. 82nd Ave. to create office, break room, reception and conference space. The applicant is Erik Matthews of EM Architecture LLC, the contractor is Greensavers USA Inc., and the owner is Green 4 82 Avenue LLC.

• A $700,000 permit is under review for demolition of a three-story office building at 619 S.W. 11th Ave., and shoring to remove a basement. Mortenson will replace the quarter-block building, formerly occupied by the United Way, with a 15-story hotel. The applicant is Bob Matkin of Mortenson Construction, and the owner is United Way of the Columbia-Willamette.

• A $1.465 million new construction permit is under review for a four-story mixed-use building with 18 apartment units at 6640 N.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The applicant is Rich Brooks of CIDA Architects, and the owner is Cornice Group LLC.

• A $2.5 million new construction permit is under review for a four-story, 32-unit apartment building with a basement at 3212 S.E. Division St. The applicant is Armin Quilici of Quilici Architecture & Design Inc., the contractor is Path Construction, and the owner is 3212 Division LLC.

• A $1.042 million permit is under review for construction of a new three-story, 15-unit apartment building at 6449 S.E. 128th Ave. The applicant is Heather Flegel of Scott | Edwards Architecture, and the owner is Luke-Dorf Inc. of Tigard.

• A $981,182 new construction permit is under review for a three-story, 12-unit apartment building at 1602 S.E. Tacoma St. The applicant is Ryan Pickrel of Cross Construction Co., and the contractor and owner is Elliott Properties Inc.

Facility permits issued

• A $1.7 million alteration permit was issued for improvements to the Multnomah County Justice Center building at 1120 S.W. Third Ave., including a restroom upgrade and re-piping on the first floor and floors 11 through 16. The applicant is Sharon Raymor of Portland’s Office of Management & Finance, the contractor is Hydro Temp Mechanical Inc., and the owner is Multnomah County.

Facility permit intakes

• A $1.4 million alteration permit is under review for improvements to Menashe Properties’ new office building at 1155 S.W. Morrison St. Improvements would include creation of a ground-floor tenant space, demolition of walls, new walls to create a new tenant space with conference rooms, a lobby/reception area, open office, ceilings, floors and finishes, and electrical. The applicant is Sera Kimura of Green Gables, the contractor is Lease Crutcher Lewis, and the owner is Morrison Development LLC.

• A $1.1 million alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement on the entire fifth floor of the Wells Fargo Center at 1300 S.W. Fifth Ave. The applicant is Bill Bezio of Mackenzie, and the owner is First Interstate Bank of Oregon.

• A $783,600 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement at 4321 N.E. 185th Drive. A tire center will be the first-time tenant at the space. The applicant is Adam Fischer of Mackenzie, the contractor is Perlo Construction, and the owner is DPF OR I LC-185 LLC of Reno, Nevada.

• A $929,000 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement to a space at the One Main Place building at 101 S.W. Main St. for Kidder Matthews. The applicant is Anne Rogness of ZGF Architects, the contractor is Balfour Beatty Construction LLC, and the owner is Madison-OFC One Main Place OR LLC of Hicksville, N.Y.

• A $1.915 million alteration permit is under review for a third-floor tenant improvement to the new Field Office at 2035 N.W. Front Ave. The applicant is Alex Aujero of Fluent Design, the contractor is Lease Crutcher Lewis, and the owner is Park Office LLC.
