Building permits issued

• A $48.338 million permit was issued for Holland Partner Group鈥檚 16-story mixed-use building at 1470 N.W. Glisan St. The 286,000-square-foot structure will have ground-floor retail space, 230 residential units and 200 below-ground parking spaces. The applicant is Stuart Spafford of Ankrom Moisan Architects, the contractor is Holland Construction Inc., and the owner is 14th & Glisan LLC.

• Two separate permits totaling $500,000 were issued on deferred submittals for wood siding on the two-building Field Office project, at 1895 and 2035 N.W. Front Ave. The applicant is Nick Chaney of contractor Lease Crutcher Lewis, and the owner is Park Office LLC.

• A total of 19 separate permits valued at $1.422 million were issued for installation of temporary trailers at three locations near Portland State University. The trailers will serve as classroom, office, administrative, studio and restroom space during the renovation of Neuberger Hall. The applicant is Nick Hodges of Hacker Architects, and the contractor is Fortis Construction.

Building permit intakes

• A $760,000 permit is under review for a tenant improvement to serve an existing tenant at a building at 1314 N.W. Glisan St. Improvements are to include a seismic upgrade and mezzanine addition. The applicant is Anne Marie Kuban of Emerick Architects, the contractor is out to bid, and the owner is KPR Holdings LLC.

• A $636,210 alteration permit is under review for a new restaurant at 11930 S.E. Division St. Improvements are to include new interior walls, equipment, furniture, dining area finishes, kitchen and restrooms. The applicant is Nos Narin of Seattle-based Catch Design Studio LLC, the contractor is out to bid, and the owner is ROIC Oregon LLC of San Diego.

• A $586,112 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement to The Hopper building at 2000 N.W. Wilson St. R&H Construction is building out a 34,000-square-foot space for its shop and field resource center. The applicant is Zachary Freund of LRS Architects, the contractor is R&H Construction, and the owner is MW 2000 Wilson LLC.

• A $1.2 million new construction permit is under review for a new three-story, 19-unit apartment building at 8116 S.E. Woodward St. The applicant is Steve Fosler of Fosler Portland Architecture, the contractor is out to bid, and the owner is Dez Development LLC.

• A $985,347 new construction permit is under review for a four-story, 28-unit apartment building at 5434 S.E. Milwaukie Ave. The applicant is Ralph Tahran of Tahran Architecture & Planning, and the contractor and owner is Main Street Development Inc.

Facility permits issued

• A $1.7 million alteration permit was issued for improvements to a warehouse building at 2120 N.W. 27th Ave. for Adidas North America. Work is to include new walls to create a receiving area, conference rooms, open office space, and mezzanine storage area. The applicant is Philip Zwettler of MCA Architects, the contractor is Turner Construction, and the owner is AMB LLC.

• A $2.8 million alteration permit was issued for tenant improvements to the ground, first and second floors of Adidas鈥� 鈥淏eijing鈥� building at 5030 N. Greeley Ave. The project includes new ceiling, floors and finishes, new walls to create open office areas, and break meeting and phone rooms. The applicant is Anne Karel of Interior Architects, the contractor is R&H Construction, and the owner is Adidas Village Corporation.

• A $6.223 million permit was issued on deferred submittal for curtainwall and storefronts on the podium and skybridge (levels 1-5) of OHSU鈥檚 Center for Health and Healing 鈥� South project at 3485 S.W. Bond Ave. The applicant is Tomasz Kaltur of contractor Hoffman Construction, and the owner is OHSU.

• Two separate permits were also issued on deferred submittal for the Rood Family Pavilion aspect of the project on an adjacent block at 3410 S.W. Bond Ave: one valued at $655,971 for punched window openings, and another valued at $450,000 permit for acoustical ceilings. The applicant is Jeff Bowen of Hoffman Construction.

Facility permit intakes

• A $1.5 million alteration permit is under review for improvements to post-security concessions spaces at Concourses D and C West at Portland International Airport. Work is to include new walls, doors, lighting, finishes and electrical work. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is Todd Hess Building Co., and the owner is the Port of Portland.

• A $595,000 alteration permit is also under review for a tenant improvement to Your Northwest Travel Mart at Portland International Airport. Work is to include new walls, storefront, doors, finishes, casework, ceilings, plumbing and electrical work. The applicant is Rico Andrews of Atlanta-based Paradies Lagardere Travel Retail, the contractor is out to bid, and the owner is the Port of Portland.

• A $1.188 million permit is under review for the interior remodel of a Fred Meyer store at 14700 S.E. Division St. The applicant is Kitty Schaffernoth of Mackenzie, and the owner is Cincinnati, Ohio-based Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. The same applicant is seeking a permit valued at $981,282 for the interior remodel of the Fred Meyer store at 7555 S.W. Barbur Blvd. The owner is Fred Meyer Store Inc., also of Cincinnati.

• A $740,000 alteration permit is under review for improvements to the Medical Research Building at OHSU鈥檚 Marquam Hill campus, at 3181 S.W. Sam Jackson Park Road. The work is to include patching areas around upgraded infrastructure work on the ground floor and floors three through nine. The applicant is Marcus Morgan of PKA Architects, and the contractor is Skanska USA Building.

• A $2.5 million alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement on the third floor of the Auditorium Building at OHSU鈥檚 Marquam Hill campus. The applicant is Brian Hjelte of Waterleaf Architecture. The applicant is also seeking a mechanical alteration permit valued at $820,000 for work including replacement of two rooftop air handling units.

• A $1.4 million alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement to the Wells Fargo Center at 1300 S.W. Fifth Ave. Work is to include construction of a new mail room, open office space, private office, mailroom cart area, art storage room, and break room. The applicant is Bill Bezio of Mackenzie, and the owner is Carlsbad, California-based First Interstate Bank of Oregon.

• A $520,000 permit filed on deferred submittal for suspended ceilings at the Knight Cancer Research Building, at 2720 S.W. Moody Ave., is under review. No applicant is listed; the contractor is McCarthy Andersen A Joint Venture LLC, and the owner is OHSU.
