  • A design advice request is pending for two new buildings and the restoration of a historic building in the Alphabet District at 1727 N.W. Hoyt St. The applicants are Stephen McMurtrey of Northwest Housing Alternatives and Brendan Sanchez of Carleton Hart Architecture, and the owner is Mark O’Donnell of Jane Enterprises LLC.
  • Early assistance is requested for a new 260,000-square-foot concrete tilt-up building at 1501 N. Schmeer Road. The structure will be able to accommodate multiple industrial tenants. The applicant is Suzannah Stanley of Mackenzie, and the owner is Hayden Meadows.
  • Early assistance is pending for construction of a new 54,000-square-foot concrete tilt-up building on a property on North Force Avenue between North Marine Drive and Heron Lakes Golf Course. The applicant is Jennifer Kimura of VLMK Engineering + Design, and the owner is Harsch Investment Properties.

  • Early assistance is pending for construction of a 13,000-square-foot concrete tilt-up building at Northeast Mason Street and 150th Court. The applicant is Jennifer Kimura of VLMK Engineering + Design, and the owner is Tri-State Construction Inc. of Bellevue, Washington.
  • Early assistance is pending for preparation of the public works permit for street improvements at the Zidell Yards site in the South Waterfront District. The applicant is Sarah Zahn of ZRZ Realty Co., and the owner is Zidell Explorations Inc.
  • A pre-application conference is pending for a 19-lot land division at 7615 S.E. 162nd Ave. The applicant is George Bitrous, and the owners are Norma and Aziz Faris.
  • A pre-application conference is pending for development of a 1.5-acre site at 1120 S.E. Main St. An existing two-story commercial building at the site would be renovated to become creative office and retail space. Two new buildings are proposed – a five-story wood-framed multifamily building with ground-floor retail space, and a new manufacturing and production building with above-grade parking. The total development would contain 72 apartments, 66,000 gross square feet of manufacturing and production space, and 94 vehicular parking stalls. The applicant is Agustin Enriquez of GBD Architects, and the owner is Macadam Nase LLC.
  • A public works inquiry is pending for a proposed new duplex with affordable units at 7604 S.E. 87th Ave. The applicant is Ellen Vanderslice, and the owner is American State Financial Corp.
  • A Type II design review is pending for improvements to the Congress Center building at 1001 S.W. Fifth Ave., including renovation of the Southwest Sixth Avenue entry plaza, gazebo and adjacent lower façade, consolidation of building entries, replacement of and alterations to the curtain wall, gazebo, railings and pavers. The applicant is Craig Stockbridge of GBD Architects, and the owner is ASVRF Unico Portland I LLC of Seattle.
  • A Type IIx land division review is pending for division of a parcel at 2934 S.E. 145th Ave. into five lots with a new private street. Attached houses are proposed for two of the lots, and detached houses are proposed for the other three. The applicant is Justin Wood of Fish Construction NW, Inc., and the owners are Jeffrey and Lynn Fish.
  • A Type IIx land division review is pending for division of a parcel at 14700 S.E. Rhine St. into four lots with a private street. The applicant is Kym Nguyen of Concept Design & Associates, and the owners are Shu Tang Huang and Yan Wu.
