  • Early assistance is requested for the evaluation of options for development of a property at 1537 S.E. Morrison St. An 8,607-square-foot retail building occupies the site, which was sold in July for $1.665 million.   • A pre-application conference is sought for a proposal to build a seven-story office building on a half-block of Southeast Grand Avenue between Pine and Ash streets. The planned structure would be approximately 100 feet tall with a gross area of approximately 107,000 square feet. The applicant is Marcus Lima of GBD Architects, and the owners are Shleifer Grand LLC and Ken Shleifer.
  • A Type II design review is sought for a 2,439-square-foot addition to an existing medical clinic/office building at 4212 N.E. Broadway, and site improvements including accessibility upgrades, construction of an open pedestrian plaza, and parking lot improvements. The applicant is Ted Lundin of Lundin Cole Architects, and the owner is Rose City Investment Co.
  • A Type II design review is sought for installation of open screening on the parking garage at Hotel Rose, 50 S.W. Morrison St., to prevent access and limit views into the existing garage. Automated entry gates are proposed along Southwest First Avenue.   • A Type 1x historic resource review is pending for an alteration to the main entry of the Portland State University Honors Building, at 1632 S.W. 12th Ave., for accessibility improvements. Alterations would include a new front entry stair, an adjacent ADA platform lift and enlargement of the existing porch to allow wheelchairs to maneuver. The applicant is Sam Yerke of DECA Architecture, and the owner is the Oregon State Board of Higher Education.
