Building permits issued for Jan. 22-28

• A $1,900,000 alteration permit was issued for improvements to an existing four-story building at 6012 S.E. Yamhill St. The project includes a change of occupancy and use from R1, B and A3 to R2 and A3, with 62 new apartment units and 14 sleeping units added, and a complete seismic retrofit of the entire building. The applicant is David Rodeback of David Rodeback Architect LLC, the contractor is Ascent Design Build Inc., and the owner is Reham 6 LLC.

• A $1,100,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for a new seven-theater cinema with a restaurant and bar at 3945 S.E. Powell Blvd. The applicant is Kevin Grant of C2K Architecture, the contractor is DLS Contracting Inc., and the owner is 39 Powell, which is registered to Dennis Sivers of D.W. Sivers Company.

• A $1,700,000 new construction permit is under review for a two-story, wood-framed, 25-bed adult care home at 15225 S.E. Powell Blvd. The applicant is Emily Malloy of BAMA Architecture and Design, the contractor is Mel Construction LLC, and the owner is Yaman Development Holding Group 1 LLC.

• A $1,724,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement in the west wing of Legacy Emanuel Medical Center at 2801 N. Gantenbein Ave. The applicant is Ali Sadri of Legacy Health, the contractor is Andersen Construction, and the owner is Emanuel Hospital of Irving, Texas.

• A $1,188,000 alteration permit was issued for the interior remodel of a Fred Meyer store at 14700 S.E.
