Lane Powell has hired Emily Maass as an associate within its corporate, securities and M&A team. Maass advises clients on corporate governance, state and federal regulatory compliance, annual shareholder and board meeting preparation, and corporate financing. She previously served as deputy legislative counsel for Oregon鈥檚 Office of the Legislative Counsel, where she was an expert in real property transactions, land use, housing, and geology and mineral industries. Maass received a law degree from the State University of New York鈥檚 Buffalo Law School.
