Oregon Gov. Kate Brown has appointed Alice Cuprill-Comas president of the Port of Portland Commission. She is replacing Jim Carter, who recently completed an eight-year term. Cuprill-Comas is senior vice president and general counsel for Oregon Health & Science University. Before joining OHSU in November 2012,聽she聽was a partner at Ater Wynne LLP. Cuprill-Comas has also served as general counsel to Prometheus Energy Company, and as an associate at both Vinson & Elkins LLP and Tonkon Torp LLP. She holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree from the University of Texas and a Juris Doctor degree from Lewis & Clark Law School.
