Building permits issued for Feb. 12-18

• A $586,112 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement to include new shop space, a tool repair area, shop workrooms, a break room, fitness space and other improvements for R&H Construction’s new shop space at 2055 N.W. Wilson St. The applicant is Zachary Freund of LRS Architects, the contractor is R&H Construction, and the owner is MW 2000 Wilson LLC, which is registered to developer James Winkler.

• A $700,000 demolition permit was issued for destruction of a three-story office building and shoring to remove a basement at 619 S.W. 11th Ave. The quarter-block site will gain a 15-story hotel developed and built by Mortenson. The applicant is Bob Matkin of Mortenson Construction, the contractor is MA Mortenson Company, and the owner is United Way of the Columbia-Willamette.

• A $3,000,000 new construction permit was issued on deferred submittal for aluminum windows at Block 294E, where a 14-story mixed-use project is under construction at 2121 N.W. Savier St. The applicant is Justin Paull of JBA-ACCO, the contractor is JBA LLC, and the owner is XPO Properties Inc.

• A $1,124,000 new construction permit was issued on deferred submittal for curtainwalls, window walls, and glass guardrails on a four-story mixed-use office/retail building at 4075 N. Williams Ave. The applicant is Dexter Parry of contractor Bremik Construction, and the owner is Rujax V LLC.

• An $8,279,972 new construction permit was issued for construction of a four-story, 99-room hotel with an indoor pool and exercise room, associated site work and new parking, at 7101 N.E. 82nd Ave. The applicant is Dale Johnson of JRA Architecture & Planning, the primary contractor is out to bid, and the owner is Bhgah Airport LLC.

Building permit intakes for Feb. 12-18

• A $1,029,927 addition permit is under review for the addition of a second-floor penthouse, including offices, a break room and stairs, to a warehouse building at 1640 N.W. Irving St. The applicant is Jennifer Nye of William Wilson Architects, the contractor is Path Construction, and the owner is NBP 1640 NW Irving LLC.

• A $1,500,000 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement for a new gym at 5990 S.E. 92nd Ave. The applicant is Chris Shinpaugh of TAJ LLC DBA Planet Fitness, the primary contractor is out to bid, and the owner is Fox Pointe Limited Partnership.

• An $800,000 alteration permit is under review for fire damage repair at 6600 N. St. Louis Ave. The applicant is Nick Mira of Propel Studio Architecture, the contractor is Probuild Contractors LLC, and the owner is Stenno Carbon Inc.

• A $1,027,985 new construction permit is under review for a three-story, 15-unit apartment building at 6930 S.E. Long St. The applicant is Vasiliy Krasnogrov of contractor Red Hills Construction, and the owner is Li’s Enterprise LLC.

• A $1,300,000 new construction permit is under review for a three-story, nine-unit apartment building at 1616 N. Willis Blvd. The applicant is Edward Radulescu of EPR Design LLC, the contractor is Crescent Custom Homes LLC, and the owner is NF Development LLC. A separate new construction permit, with the same value, applicant and contractor, is also under review for an adjacent property at 1610 N. Willis Blvd. The owners are Rodney and Kathleen Allen of Chandler, Arizona.

Facility permits issued for Feb. 12-18

• A $750,000 alteration permit was issued for basement and first-floor weak story mitigation to the Lincoln Building at 421 S.W. Oak St. The applicant is Matt Fitzgerald of GBD Architects, the contractor is R&H Construction, and the owner is G&I VII Lincoln Building LP of New York City.

• A $650,000 alteration permit was issued for the remodel of restrooms and corridors on multiple floors of the American Bank Building at 621 S.W. Morrison St. The applicant is Lon Stiner of contractor Oreneva Construction, and the owner is LVA4 Portland ABB LLC of Houston, Texas.

• A $1,000,000 addition permit was issued on deferred submittal for viscous dampening devices on the Multnomah County Central Courthouse project at 1200 S.W. First Ave. The applicant is Jeff Gardner of contractor Hoffman Construction, and the owner is Multnomah County.

• A $2,000,000 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement for Urban Airship at Brewery Blocks Block 1, 1225 W. Burnside St. The applicant is Jason Mourray of IA Interior Architects, the contractor is Swinerton Builders, and the owner is Veolia Energy Portland LLC of Dallas, Texas.

• An $817,495 alteration permit is under review for an Adidas tenant improvement at the Montgomery Park building, 2701 N.W. Vaughn St. The applicant is Matt Murray of Chicago-based Burnham Nationwide, the primary contractor is out to bid, and the owner is Montgomery Park I LLC. A separate mechanical alteration permit valued at $639,455 is under review for the project; the applicant is the same, and the primary contractor is also out to bid.
