Building permits issued for March 5-11

• An $867,924 addition permit was issued for a tenant improvement to convert existing office and retail space at 2606 N.E. Broadway into compounding space. The applicant is Stephen Korbich, the contractor is CD Redding Construction and the owner is 2606 Broadway LLC.

• An $800,000 alteration permit was issued for improvements to a multifamily building at 5819 N.E. Glisan St., including removal of existing stucco and repair of water-damaged components, and replacement with a cementitious panel system. The applicant is Tripp Royce, the contractor is Keck General Construction and the owner is 5819 Glisan LLC.

• A $1,563,540 alteration permit was issued for improvements to Service Employees International Union Local 49’s office building at 3536 S.E. 26th Ave. Permitted work includes replacement and expansion of an existing canopy, expansion of a guard wall, and addition of a gate to a secure stairwell. The applicant is Jeff Lewis of West Coast Forensics, the contractor is Reber Investments LLC and the owner is SEIU Local 49.

• A $13,692,469 new construction permit was issued for developer Urban Asset Advisors’ Grand Belmont mixed-use project at 514 S.E. Belmont St. The seven-story structure will have ground-floor retail space and 131 residential units on the upper floors. The applicant is Brad Bane of Ankrom Moisan Architects, the contractor is Lease Crutcher Lewis and the owner is Grand Belmont Owner LLC.

• A $766,730 new construction permit was issued for a new restaurant, a drive-thru, a parking lot and site improvements at 9100 S.E. Powell Blvd. The applicant is Jamie Trenda of Kirkland, Washington-based Freiheit & Ho Architects, the contractor is TJ Nisbet Construction and the owner is William F Bitar Mgmt Inc.

Building permit intakes for March 5-11

• An $800,000 alteration permit is under review for improvements to a retail building at 628 E. Burnside St., including a change of occupancy from B to A-2. The applicant is Nick Mira of Propel Studio Architecture, the contractor is Probuild Contractors LLC, and the owners are Keun Sung Yu and Chong Yeol Yu.

• A $5,588,544 new construction permit is under review for construction of a new four-story, 91-unit apartment building with 19 parking spaces at 1717 S.E. Tenino St. The applicant is David Mullens of Urban Development Group, the contractor is SK Hoff Construction LLC and the owner is UDG 17th & Tenino LLC.

• A $1,500,000 new construction permit is under review for construction of a three-story, 12-unit apartment building at 423 N.E. 74th Ave. The applicant is Dan Williams of Faster Permits, the contractor is Grove Development Inc. and the owner is William Hunt.

• A $1,300,000 new construction permit is under review for a three-story, nine-unit apartment building at 3967 N.E. Garfield Ave. The applicant is Edward Radulescu of EPR Design LLC, and the contractor and owner is Crescent Custom Homes LLC.

• A $600,000 new construction permit is under review for construction of a single-story non-conditioned pavilion at 3823 N.E. Glisan St. The applicant is Mark DiLoreto of Planning Solutions Architecture Inc., the owner is All Saints Catholic Church Portland Oregon and the primary contractor is out to bid.

• A $2,200,000 new construction permit filed on deferred submittal is under review for aluminum curtainwall and glazing on the Multnomah County Health Department headquarters building at 600 N.W. Hoyt St. The applicant is Nick Woodard of contractor JE Dunn Construction and the owner is Multnomah County.

• A $1,194,626 alteration permit was issued for a 19th-floor tenant improvement at the Moda Tower at 601 S.W. Second Ave. The applicant is Katie Reiff of Urban Renaissance Group, the contractor is Swinerton Builders and the owner is Morrison Street CF LLC.

• A $1,150,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement to all floors of Portland State University’s Parkmill building at 1633 S.W. Park Ave. The applicant is Anthony Bohan of PSU, and the contractor is Andersen Construction.
