Building permits issued for March 12-18

• A $1,089,800 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for a new brewery at 6112 S.E. Foster Road. The applicant is Gabe Headrick of Steelhead Architecture, the contractor is Lorentz Bruun, and the owner is Arden Commercial Real Estate LLC.

• A $930,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for a medical office at the Asian Health & Service Center building at 9047 S.E. Foster Road. The applicant is Sarah Larsen of Holst Architecture, the contractor is O’Neill/Walsh Community Builders, and the owners are AHSC Qalicb and Holden Leung.

Building permit intakes for March 12-18

• A $33,971,734 addition permit is under review for the renovation of a former Sears building at 1260 N.E. Lloyd Center. The lower levels will be for retail and office use, while the upper level will be expanded by 76,000 square feet for a 14-screen movie theater. The project is still going through design review, and is scheduled to be seen by the commission again on April 5. • A $2,600,000 addition permit is sought for design revisions to the basement, ground floor, and level 2 of the Grove Hotel building at 15 N.W.
