  • Early assistance is sought for a new industrial service (building materials) tenant at a warehouse at 2455 N.W. Nicolai St. Proposed work includes a 23,300-square-foot office remodel, a 76,300-square-foot warehouse remodel, and exterior changes including screening and canopies. The project cost will be approximately $2 million. The applicant is Suzannah Stanley of Mackenzie, and the owner is Rosan Inc.
  • Early assistance is sought for a proposed new four-story commercial building, with ground-floor retail space and parking and three floors of residential or commercial live-work units, at 3240 N. Williams Ave. The site is currently occupied by a single-story pizza restaurant. The applicant is William Neburka of Evident Architecture Office, and the owner is Jennifer Lyons.
  • Early assistance is sought for the conversion of a building at 4946 N. Vancouver Ave. from commercial use to hotel/motel use. The applicant is Hayden Laverty, and the owners are Aaron and Meghan Saito.
  • Early assistance is pending for the fenced enclosure of an existing asphalt area beneath the west end of the Hawthorne Bridge adjacent to Southwest Naito Parkway; the 10-foot-tall wrought iron fence would have automatic vehicle gates and a locked personnel gate. The applicant is Jon Mehlschau of SRG Partnership, and the owner is the city of Portland; the project would be for Multnomah County.
  • Early assistance is sought for demolition of a two-story building at 8308 S.E. 13th Ave., and construction of a new four-story, 19-unit apartment building in its place. The 28,000-square-foot structure would have retail and office space on the ground floor. The applicant is Michael Flowers of MFA Architecture & Planning, and the owner is Mark Radford.
  • A Type 1x lot consolidation procedure is sought in advance of a property line adjustment as part of a proposal for a mixed-use development at 1510 N.E. Multnomah St. The applicant is Cassidy Bolger of Portland Lloyd Center Community LLC, and the owner is Capref Lloyd Center LLC.
