  • A design advice request is pending to create a new Parish Hall gathering space at St. Mary鈥檚 Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, at 1715 N.W. Couch St. An existing courtyard would be raised to align with the first floor and redesigned to provide a large gathering space with a direct connection to the new hall. The applicant is Caitlin Ranson of Hacker, and the owner is St. Mary Catholic Cathedral of Immaculate Conception Portland Oregon.
  • A design advice request is pending for new buildings at Adidas Village, at 5060 N. Greeley Ave., including a centralized loading facility modification. The applicant is Thomas Robinson of LEVER Architecture, and the owner is Adidas Village Corporation.
  • Early assistance is sought for minor exterior renovations to American Assets Trust鈥檚 830 Building at Oregon Square, at 830 N.E.   • Early assistance is sought for future code information for a property at 16211 S.E. Foster Road. The Audubon Society of Portland is considering purchasing the lots to create a conservation-focused facility to host environmental education activities, a wildlife hospital, offices, an interpretive center, outdoor caging for wildlife, and a nature store.   • Early assistance is sought for the redesign of the canopy and entry glazing to the Portland Marriott City Center hotel building at 520 S.W. Broadway. The applicant is Gary Golla of SERA Architects, and the owner is BPM Associates (1995) LLC, of which Barry Schlesinger is the registered member.
  • A pre-application conference is pending to discuss the renovation of an existing 90-unit apartment building at 1969 N.W. Johnson St. The project scope includes a new exterior skin, HVAC upgrades, site upgrades and non-conforming upgrades. The applicant is Dave Otte of Holst Architecture, and the owner is Home Forward (listed as the Housing Authority of Portland).
  • A pre-application conference is sought for construction of a new unstaffed essential public communications facility at 2595 N.W. Skyline Blvd. An existing guyed tower would be removed and replaced with a new 150-foot self-supporting lattice tower. The applicants are Joshua Gertsen and Bjorn Morfin of Securasite LLC, and Ken Seymour of Washington County Consolidated Communications Agency; the owner is the city of Portland.
  • A pre-application conference is sought for redevelopment of a site at 11858 N.E. Halsey St. with a three-story, 90,000-square-foot self-storage facility with accessory office space and parking.   • A pre-application conference is sought for a proposed five-story building with four stories of office space over ground-floor retail space at 121 N. Beech St. A 118-year-old single-family home currently occupies the site.   • A pre-application conference is pending for development of Block 292 West and Block 291 West in the Con-way Master Plan area of Northwest Portland at 1417 N.W. 20th Ave. The proposal is for two six-story market-rate apartment buildings with ground-floor retail space and basement parking.   • A Type II design review is sought for a new four-story mixed-use development at 1935 N. Killingsworth St. The wood-framed building would consist of 36 studio, one- and two-bedroom residential units on the upper levels, and ground-floor retail space and at-grade parking.   • A Type Ix historic resource review is pending for the replacement of two storefront bays on the Southwest Broadway-facing side of a building at 715 S.W. Morrison St. with new storefront and glazing with operable windows. The applicant is Stephen Blackstone of IA Interior Architects, PC, and the owners are Goodman Generations III LLC and PIPAB LLC.
