Building permits issued for April 9-15

• A $2,000,000 permit was issued to add a parish hall to an existing building and renovate an existing rectory at St. John Fisher Church at 4567 S.W. Nevada St. The applicant is Joseph Beer of Soderstrom Architects, the contractor is TEAM Construction, and the owner is St John Fisher Catholic Church Portland Oregon.

• A $17,075,000 permit was issued for improvements to a SmartPark parking structure at 730 S.W. 10th Ave. Plans call for an addition to the garage, removal of stair and elevator towers at all four corners, replacement of stairs and elevators at two corners, and retail additions at two corners. The applicant is Christine Rumi of FFA Architecture & Interiors, the contractor is Balfour Beatty Construction, and the owner is the city of Portland.

• An $800,000 alteration permit was issued for fire damage repair and replacement of fire-damaged roof trusses, framing members, sheathing and roofing of an industrial building at 6600 N. St. Louis Ave. The applicant is Nick Mira of Propel Studio Architecture, the contractor is PROBuild Contractors, and the owner is Stenno Carbon Inc.

• A $2,969,867 alteration permit was issued for a warehouse building at 13333 N. Rivergate Blvd. to be reroofed. The applicant is Andrew Fisher of contractor Nations Roof of Oregon, and the owner is the Port of Portland.

• A $4,370,308 new construction permit is under inspection for excavation, shoring, foundation, structural shell through level two and all under slab and perimeter utility for Downtown Development Group’s 230 Ash mixed-use building at 246 S.W. Ash St. The applicant is Omid Naseri of GBD Architects, the contractor is Lease Crutcher Lewis, and the owner is Lot-94 LLC.

• A $981,182 new construction permit was issued for a new three-story, 12-unit apartment building at 1610 S.E. Tacoma St. The applicant is Ryan Pickrel of Faster Permits, and the contractor and owner is Elliott Properties Inc.

• A $589,229 new construction permit is under inspection for a new single-story dental clinic at 5905 S.E. Belmont St. The applicant is Scott Soukup of Ankrom Moisan Architects, the contractor is Phair Construction Company, and the owners are Aaron and Amanda Tinkle.

• A $7,912,174 new construction permit was issued for a three-story self-storage building at 2922 S.E. 82nd Ave. The applicant is Stephen Curtis of Mackenzie, the owner is NWSS 82nd Ave Self Storage LLC, and the primary contractor is out to bid.

Building permit intakes for April 9-15

• An $887,064 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement for a new clinic at the Oliver Station mixed-use building at 9151 S.E. • A $1,200,000 alteration permit is under review for voluntary seismic upgrades to Alice Ott Middle School at 12500 S.E. Ramona St. Upgrades are to include anchorage of brick veneer, bracing of unreinforced masonry, and addition of lateral force-resisting shear walls. • A $1,754,374 new construction permit sought on deferred submittal is under review for fiberglass windows on Holland Partner Group’s 16-story mixed-use building under construction at 1470 N.W. Glisan St. The applicant is Dana Legg of Holland Partner Group, the contractor is Holland Construction Inc., and the owner is 14th & Glisan LLC.

• A $3,468,403 new construction permit is under review for Urban Asset Advisors’ four-story, 39-unit mixed-use building with a ground-floor commercial shell at 7661 S.W. Capitol Highway. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is R&H Construction, and the owner is MV2 LLC.

• A $995,000 new construction permit is under review for the replacement of a single-span, covered pedestrian bridge at Lewis & Clark College at 0615 S.W. Palatine Hill Road. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, and the contractor is Precision Construction Company.

• A $1,100,000 alteration permit is under inspection for a tenant improvement for Ampere at the Field Office building at 2035 N.W. Front Ave. The applicant is Hayley Blair of LRS Architects, the contractor is Lease Crutcher Lewis, and the owner is Park Office LLC.

• An $817,495 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement for Adidas at the Montgomery Park building at 2701 N.W.
