  • Design advice is sought for a seven-story mixed-use building on a TriMet-owned parking lot at 1715 S.W. Salmon St. The proposed building would contain 177 residential units, 8,800 square feet of ground-floor retail space and 27 parking spaces. The applicant is Kurt Schultz of SERA Architects.
  • Early assistance is pending for a proposal to develop a combined parcel at 5615 N.E. 62nd Ave. with 10 two-story or three-story townhouses. Parking and a play area are proposed for the front area. The applicant is Jennifer Farmer of owner Citycraft Development.
  • Early assistance is sought for a five-unit condominium development at 111 N.E. Killingsworth St. The applicant is Randall Yamada, and the owners are Tuan Bon Trong and Thu N T Le.
  • Early assistance is sought for construction of a 30-unit multifamily development at 8124 N. Interstate Ave. The project would consist of two three-story buildings that would be constructed in two phases. All units would be sold as permanently affordable condominiums through the city of Portland preference policy. The project is to move through the Government Accountability, Transparency and Results (GATR) fast-track process with oversight from the Portland Housing Bureau. The applicant is Kate Holmquist of owner Habitat for Humanity Metro East.
  • Early assistance is sought for a five-lot subdivision with a private street at 17520 S.E. Marie St. An existing house on the property would remain. The applicant is Randy Palazzo of NW Real Estate Investment Group LLC, and the owner is Neil Marks.
  • Early assistance is sought for a proposed five-lot subdivision for single-family detached housing with a private street at 7035 E./S.E. Windsor Court. The applicant is Daniel Silvey of D.B.S. Group LLC, and the owner is Ralph Bankston.
  • Early assistance is requested for the renovation of industrial properties for hemp processing at 10405 N. Macrum Ave. and cannabis processing at 7024 N. Richards St. The applicant also seeks to vacate nearby streets to prevent illegal dumping and for security purposes. The applicant is Jonathan Dunn of Woodblock Architecture, and the owner is Sunset Coast Marketing LLC, which is registered to Ellen Williams of Bend.
  • A Type III conditional use procedure and a Type III design review with modifications are sought for a new seven-story, 174,000-square-foot classroom/lab/office building at 401 S.W. Harrison St. The building would hold office and academic space for Portland State University, Oregon Health & Science University, Portland Community College and the city of Portland. The applicant is Sam Stadler of SRG Partnership, and the owner is the Portland State University Campus Planning Office.
  • A Type II design review is pending for the redesign of an existing canopy and entry glazing to the Portland Marriott City Center hotel building at 520 S.W. Broadway, Unit 3. The applicant is Gary Golla of SERA Architects, and the owner is WB Sunstone-Portland LLC of Aliso Viejo, California.
  • A Type II design review with modifications is pending for a new structure, identified as the 鈥淚ntersection,鈥 on the Adidas campus at 5055 N. Greeley Ave. The proposal also includes a new pedestrian plaza along North Greeley Avenue. The applicant is Scott Barton-Smith of Hacker, and the owner is Adidas Village Corporation.
  • A Type II greenway procedure is sought for a project to restore and improve seasonally available off-channel aquatic and riparian habitat for fish and wildlife at 12500 N.W. Marina Way. The project involves earth-moving activities over 31.5 acres of the property, control of invasive plant species and enhancement of shoreline, riparian and upland habitats through re-vegetation plantings and maintenance. The applicant is Jennifer Santhouse of owner Portland General Electric.
  • A Type Ix historic resource review is sought for changes to the Grove Hotel building at 15 N.W. Fourth Ave. The new owners of the property, London-based hospitality firm Ennismore, are requesting changes to the south elevation of the building, including removal of the three westernmost alcoves and window replacements to match the rest of the others on the ground floor, reversal of the door-swing and window configuration of the easternmost alcove, and removal of the mid-building blade sign. Changes to the east elevation are also proposed, including relocation of the blade sign from mid-building of the new tower to the southeast corner of the building, and addition of screening to the alcove facing Southeast Fourth Avenue. The applicant is Mark Vanderzanden of Surround Architecture, and the owner is Grove Hotel Partners LLC.
