Building permits issued for April 23-29

  • A $113,779,215 addition permit was issued for a two-level, 800-lineal-foot addition to the existing Concourse E at Portland International Airport, 7000 N.E. Airport Way. The addition will include new hold rooms and concession areas. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is Skanska USA Building Inc., and the owner is the Port of Portland.
  • A $727,440 addition permit was issued for shell-only improvements to the 200 Market Building at 200 S.W. Market St. The scope of work includes demolition of interior partition walls at an existing first-floor restaurant, new stairs to a new mezzanine with a new glass pavilion over a flower shop, and a new glass canopy at the north and west facades. Tenant improvements will be done under a separate permit. The applicant is Tim Grinstead of GBD Architects, the contractor is Bremik Construction, and the owner is Two Hundred Market Assoc LP.
  • A $1,385,000 addition permit was issued for two prefabricated metal building additions on the south side of an industrial building at 12106 N.E. Ainsworth Circle. One building will include storage, conference and equipment space, as well as an office mezzanine, and the other will hold a mechanical equipment room. The applicant is Nick Merriss of Smith Monroe Gray Engineers Inc., the contractor is Phoenix Industrial Inc., and the owner is Timberland Development Co LLC.
  • A $973,264 alteration permit was issued for revisions to a permit for the renovation of a warehouse building at 134 S.E. Taylor St. Revised work includes relocation of a gas meter, elevator equipment closet and bathrooms, and relocation of toilets and an electrical room on the first floor. The applicant is Adam Christie of Christie Architecture, the contractor is Deform NW LLC, and the owner is 134 Taylor LLC.
  • A $750,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for a first-time tenant at 5035 N.E. Sandy Blvd. The applicant is Steven Ehlbeck of SERA Architects, the contractor is A C Schommer & Sons Inc., and the owner is 5035 Sandy LLC.
  • A $13,587,818 new construction permit was issued for a new four-story, 64-unit building at 5800 S.E. 91st Ave. The applicant is Jennifer Hoffman of Carleton Hart Architecture, the contractor is Walsh Construction Co., and the owner is Prosper Portland.

  • A $3,629,615 alteration permit is under review for the exterior renovation of a four-story multifamily building at 5845 N.E. Hoyt St. The scope of work is to include demolition and replacement of existing exterior cladding and windows and other miscellaneous exterior improvements. The applicant is Spencer Deinard of LRS Architects, the contractor is LMC Construction, and the owner is Innovative Center Village LLC.
  • A $1,380,875 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement for a new food distribution tenant at 7098 N. Marine Drive. The applicant is Jack Raquel of Modesto, California, the contractor is Ricker Thermline Inc. of Martinez, California, and the owner is EHJ6 Property LLC of Arcadia, California.
  • An $842,379 new construction permit is under review for a three-story, six-unit apartment building at 7925 N. Jersey St. The applicant is Edward Radulescu of EPR Design LLC, and the contractor and owner is Crescent Custom Homes LLC.
  • A $659,000 new construction permit filed under deferred submittal is under review for exterior metal panels on a storage building under construction at 2211 N.W. York St. The applicant is Kyncade Hardy of Perlo Construction, the contractor is Sea Con LLC of Issaquah, Washington, and the owner is Portland & York LLC of Salt Lake City, Utah.

  • A $9,876,023 alteration permit was issued for a cancer center tenant improvement at Providence Portland Medical Center at 4805 N.E. Glisan St. The applicant is Joe Webb of Providence Health, and the contractor is Fortis Construction. A $1,339,301 mechanical alteration permit was also issued for the project; the contractor is Harder Mechanical Contractors.
  • A $1,640,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for Industrious on the ninth through 11th floors of the Sixth at Yam building at 819 S.W. Sixth Ave. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is R&H Construction Co., and the owner is Sixth at Yam Owner LLC of Newport Beach, California.
  • An $860,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for Forever 21 at Pioneer Place at 700 S.W. Fifth Ave. The applicant is Abel Lopez of Forever 21, the contractor is Lennen Commercial Builders of Stockton, California, and the owner is Pioneer Place LLC of Chicago.
  • A $1,500,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for Eyelevel at 10101 N.E. Alderwood Road. The applicant is Ben Mounce of Mackenzie, the contractor is Perlo Construction, and the owner is Port of Portland (Leased PDX Logistics Center III LLC).

  • A $550,000 new construction permit filed on deferred submittal is under review for interior framing and ceiling on the Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center hotel project at 375 N.E. Holladay St. The applicant is Sarah Cochenour of Mortenson, the contractor is Mortenson Development Inc. of Minneapolis, and the owner is MDI Second Avenue Portland Hotel Owner LLC, also of Minneapolis.
