  • Early assistance is sought for a new five-unit multifamily building at 2824 N.W. Upshur St. An existing single-family house at the site would be demolished. The applicant is Gene Hubbell of Portland Development Group LLC, and the owner is Olga B Investments LLC.
  • Early assistance is sought for redevelopment of a half-block surface parking lot on the 100 block of Northwest 19th Avenue, with the potential of including a quarter-block parcel on the same block. The primary purpose is to expand parking capacity for the Trinity Cathedral on Sundays through a shared parking arrangement with a new commercial and/or mixed-use development on the site. The applicant is Ross Cornelius of Walsh Construction, and the owner is 1809 NW Properties LLC.
  • Early assistance is sought for expansion of an industrial site at 2346 N.E. Argyle St. to include additional truck parking and a building of approximately 5,000 square feet. The applicant is Matthew Newman of NW Engineers LLC, and the owner is Fed K Inc.
  • Early assistance is sought for a new three-story apartment building with 28 affordable housing units at 6716 N.E. Garfield Ave. The structure would be built using modular construction. The applicant is Nathan Ember of Ink-Built Architecture, and the owners are BD Lenz Properties LLC and MJP Holdings LLC.
  • Early assistance is pending for removal and replacement of roofing on an existing, nonconforming 12-story apartment building within the Kings Hill Historic District at 901 S.W. King Ave. The applicant is Jason Tand of LRS Architects, and the owner is King Tower Holdings LLC.
  • A Type III conditional use procedure is sought for redevelopment of the entire Kellogg Middle School site at 6909 S.E. Powell Blvd. Existing structures would be demolished to accommodate construction of a new 105,000-square-foot school structure, an off-street parking area and bus loop, a recreation field, and a limited service action road. The applicant is Tamara Deridder of TDR & Associates, and the owner is Portland Public Schools.
  • A Type II design review is sought for a renovation of the 830 Building, at 830 N.E. Holladay St. at Oregon Square. Scope of work would include demolition of an existing 鈥渟tage鈥 on the building鈥檚 west side to create a light well for basement space, and replacement of existing black spandrel glass with vision glass and grey spandrel. The applicant is Whit Middlecoff of GBD Architects, and the owner is AAT Lloyd District LLC of San Diego.
  • A Type III design review is pending for a mixed-use building on the 10400 Block of Northeast Halsey Street and Gateway Discovery Park. The building will include 40 units of affordable housing and 35 units of market-rate housing, along with ground-floor retail space and residential amenity spaces, and office space on the second floor. The second floor, as well as floors three through six, will contain the residential units. The applicant is Dave Otte of Holst Architecture, and the owners are Prosper Portland and Portland Parks and Recreation.
  • A Type II historic resource review is sought for a new four-story mixed-use building with 87 residential units and 2,400 square feet of commercial space at 105 N. Killingsworth St. The applicant is Joshua Scott of Snohomish, Washington-based micro-housing builder Koz Development, and the owner is Flowershop Building LLC.
