  • Early assistance is pending for improvements to an industrial property at 5413 N.E. Columbia Blvd. The applicant seeks to construct a 2,000-square-foot shop addition and a 2,000-square-foot equipment wash facility, and demolish three unwanted sections of an existing structure. The applicant is Craig Moody of Northwest Classic Homes LLC, and the owner is Linda Moody.
  • Early assistance is sought for a proposed new 1,500-square-foot commercial building at 10215 S.E. Foster Road. The applicant is David Spitzer of DMS Architects, and the owner is Top Tree LLC of Happy Valley.
  • Early assistance is requested for construction of a 2,000-square-foot fabricated steel warehouse using shipping containers for the structure on the 5600 block of Northwest Willbridge Avenue. The applicants and owners are Richard Duncan of Martinez, California, and Charles Starr of Portland.
  • A Type II adjustment procedure is sought for construction of a single-story restaurant and food truck court at 3612 S.E. 82nd Ave. An adjustment is sought to the pedestrian access standard for north and south sidewalk connections. The applicants are Mandy Kao of owner TDH Investments LLC, and David McIlnay of DMARC-ABE.
  • A Type II design review is sought for a new seven-story mixed-use building with 101 residential units at 25 N. Fargo St. The building will include affordable units and parking. The applicant is Jeff Ko of Seattle-based Jackson Main Architecture, and the owner is Solterra Canopy LLC, also of Seattle.
  • A Type II design review is sought for a new four-story mixed-use building at 3240 N. Williams Ave. The applicant is William Neburka of Evident Architecture Office, and the owner is Go Go LLC, which is registered to Brandon Brown of Portland.
  • A Type II design review is sought for a tenant improvement with alterations to the exterior of the business tower entry lobby at the southwest corner of Pioneer Tower at 888 S.W. Fifth Ave. Proposed alterations would include the addition of a wood-look metal ceiling at the existing exterior soffit outside the entry door and replacement of revolving doors with an interior vestibule and ADA-compliant doors. The applicant is Jeanne Jameson of ZGF Architects, and the owner is LIPT SW Fifth Ave LLC of Chicago.
  • A Type III design review with modifications is sought for construction of a six-story, 54-unit residential building with ground-floor retail space and at-grade parking on a property near Northeast 97th Avenue and East Burnside Street. The building would consist of five stories of wood framing over a concrete podium, and contain a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments. The applicant is Adam Hostetler of Works Progress Architecture, and the owners are Randall Borho and Joseph Kappers of Beavercreek.
  • A Type II historic resource review is sought for a proposed 10-unit multifamily building at 206 W./N.E. Sacramento St. An existing historic dwelling would be removed. The applicant is Zac Horton of Faster Permits, and the owner is Patricia Burraston.
  • A Type II historic resource review is pending for the addition of steel bracing along the east and west unreinforced masonry parapet walls of a garage building at 124 N.W. 20th Ave. A plywood overlay will be added to the building’s roof. The applicants are Brian Emerick and Brian Apple of Emerick Architects, and the owner is Stadium Court Garage LLC, which is managed by Walter McMonies.
