The O’Neill-Walsh Community Builders partnership is constructing a 12-story mixed-use tower for Home Forward, which is Multnomah County’s public housing authority. The building will have 244 affordable housing units along with ground floor retail and a public courtyard accessible from sidewalks. The $74 million project was made possible in part because of a property tax loophole that gives relief to operators of affordable housing.

This gallery of photos was taken on the job site last week and shows trades workers installing rebar and an aluminum concrete shoring system in preparation for pouring the next concrete deck.
