Building permits issued for July 2-8

  • A $1,500,000 alteration permit is under inspection for a tenant improvement for a first-time gym tenant at 9280 S.E. Foster Road. The applicant is Chris Shinpaugh of Taj LLC DBA Planet Fitness, the contractor is Urban Edge Builders Inc. of Scottsdale, Arizona, and the owner is Fox Pointe Limited Partnership.
  • A $748,110 new construction permit was issued for a new three-story, six-unit apartment building at 1616 N.E. 45th Ave. The applicant is Nathan Arnold of Faster Permits, and the contractor and owner is K&C Custom Homes.
  • Two new construction permits totaling $600,000 were issued for a pair of four-unit, single-story apartment buildings at 6627 and 6655 N. Montana Ave. The applicant is Art Duhon of Duhon Consulting and Design Inc., the contractor is Blackstone Construction LLC, and the owners are Christopher Steenson and Nicole Walter of Sunriver.

  • A $1,000,000 new construction permit is under review for an 8,250-square-foot single-level tilt-up building for wholesale use at 5433 N.W. St. Helens Road. The permit sought is for the shell only. The applicant is Malek Hall of Geogtapa LLC, and the owner is Willbridge Industrial LLC. The primary contractor is out to bid.

  • A $785,500 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement for CD Baby on the first and second floors of an office building at 9600 N.E. Cascades Parkway. The applicant is Jon Schiele of contractor BnK Construction, and the owner is the Port of Portland (Leased Cascade Station I & II LLC).
  • A $3,000,000 alteration permit is under review for exterior improvements to floors one through three of the PacWest Center at 1211 S.W. Fifth Ave. The applicant is Dustin White of GBD Architects, the contractor is Hoffman Construction, and the owner is TR Pacwest LLC of Chicago.
  • A $595,000 alteration permit is under review for a fifth-floor amenity space tenant improvement at the United States National Bank Building at 321 S.W.   • A $15,000,000 addition permit submitted on deferred submittal is under review for curtainwall systems on levels five through 17 of the new Multnomah County Central Courthouse at 1200 S.W. First Ave. The applicant is Jeff Gardner of contractor Hoffman Construction, and the owner is Multnomah County.
