Building permits issued for July 23-29

• A $3,629,615 alteration permit was issued for the exterior renovation of an existing four-story multifamily building at 5845 N.E. Hoyt St. The applicant is Spencer Deinard of LRS Architects, the contractor is LMC Construction, and the owner is Innovative Center Village LLC.

• A $688,964 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for an existing restaurant at 3737 S.E. 82nd Ave. The applicant is Sean Miller of Chico, California-based Nichols, Melburg & Rossetto Architects, the contractor is Davidson Construction Inc., and the owner is 3737 LLC.

• A $500,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement in a building at 2389 N.W. Wilson St. The applicant is Linda Barnes of Merryman Barnes Architects, the contractor is Butler Built Custom Construction Inc., and the owner is OSB2LAN Wilson LLC.

• A $725,000 new construction permit was issued for a new two-story building with two ground-floor retail spaces and two one-bedroom apartments on the upper level at 2828 S.E. Gladstone St. The applicant is Westin Glass of Guerrilla Development, the contractor is Benchmark Design Build LLC, and the owner is Jolene’s First Cousin LLC. A $775,000 new construction permit was also issued for a new two-story building with a ground-floor retail space and congregate living on the first and second floors at 4107 S.E. 28th Place. The applicant, contractor and owner are the same.

• A $2,200,000 new construction permit was issued on deferred submittal for aluminum curtainwall and glazing on the Multnomah County Health Department headquarters at 619 N.W. Sixth Ave. The applicant is Nick Woodard of contractor JE Dunn Construction, and the owner is Multnomah County.

Building permit intakes for July 23-29

• A $23,000,000 alteration permit is under review for an interior tenant improvement of 10 floors of office space in an office building under construction at 250 S.W. Taylor St. The applicant is Chelsey Baliva of GBD Architects, the contractor is Turner Construction Co., and the owner is Third & Taylor Office Owner LLC.

• A $586,207 alteration permit is under review for alterations to the Wells Fargo Center at 1300 S.W. Fifth Ave., including replacement of an exterior canopy and section of curtainwall. The applicant is Hohn Heinen of SERA Architects, the contractor is Turner Construction Co., and the owner is SOF-XI WFP Owner LLC of Greenwich, Connecticut.

• A $790,000 new construction permit is under review for a new three-story, six-unit apartment building on the 6800 block of Northeast Grand Avenue in the Woodlawn neighborhood. The applicant is Bob Schatz of Allusa Architecture, and the contractor and owner is Firenze Development Inc.

Facility permits issued for July 23-29

• A $1,600,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for Hopworks Urban Brewery on Concourse E of Portland International Airport, at 7000 N.E. Airport Way. The applicant is Mike Mirands of Seattle-based MG 2, the contractor is JR Abbott Construction, also of Seattle, and the owner is the Port of Portland. A separate permit valued at $45,000 was also issued for a freestanding kiosk with casework, millwork, plumbing and electrical work.

• A $620,000 mechanical alteration permit was issued for installation of water pumps and associated piping to existing systems at Oregon Health & Science University’s Center for Health & Healing at 3303 S.W. Bond Ave. The applicant is Chris Kaufmann, and the contractor is JH Kelly.

Facility permit intakes for July 23-29

• A $3,500,000 alteration permit is also under review for Concourses D and E north terminal upgrades at Portland International Airport, 7000 N.E. Airport Way. A separate $500,000 alteration permit is under review for improvements to Concourse D and a baggage claim area. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the owner is the Port of Portland, and the primary contractor is out to bid.
