Building permits issued for Aug. 13-19

  • A $619,968 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for an existing tenant in a warehouse building at 1530 N.E. Columbia Blvd. The applicant is Dave Spitzer of DMS Architects Inc., the contractor is Proactive Development LLC, and the owner is MSC Columbia LLC of Houston.
  • A $1,600,000 new construction permit is under inspection for a new three-story, six-unit apartment building at 5715 N. Greeley Ave. The applicant is Joanna Briski, and the owner and contractor is Firenze Development Inc.
  • A $680,000 new construction permit was issued on deferred submittal for a stair system on a new multifamily building under construction at 2865 N.E. Sandy Blvd. The applicant is Adam Thomas of contractor Fairfield Development LP, and the owner is Fairfield Sandy Limited Partnership of San Diego.

Building permit intakes for Aug. 13-19

  • A $1,175,000 addition permit is under review for a tenant improvement for an office space on two floors of the Irving Street Lofts building at 630 N.W. 14th Ave. The applicant is Ray Yancey of Myhre Group Architects, the contractor is Fortis Construction, and the owner is Marketplace I.
  • A $13,528,654 addition permit is under review for the renovation of Data Processing Building at 350 S.W. Jefferson St., a five-story accessory structure connected to the Wells Fargo Center tower. The renovation will add a floor and remodel existing floors for office space, and include a new entry, roof deck and shell spaces for future tenants. The applicant is Jehn Heinen of SERA Architects, the contractor is Turner Construction Company, and the owner is SOF-XI WFP Owner LLC of Greenwich, Connecticut.
  • A $1,833,737 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement for a new tenant on the third and sixth floors of the Towne Storage building at 221 S.E. Ankeny St. The project will add interior partition walls to offices, conference rooms and restrooms. The applicant is Cesar Villanueva of Mackenzie, the contractor is Fortis Construction, and the owner is 224 Fifth Madison Park LLC of Los Angeles.
  • A $2,219,133 new construction permit is under review for improvements related to a parking lot expansion for an auto storage area at 9003 N. Columbia Blvd. The applicant is Benjamin Grone of Loveland, Colorado-based Olsson Associates, and the owner is Union Pacific Railroad Company; the primary contractor is out to bid.

Facility permits issued for Aug. 13-19

  • A $750,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for Cable Hill Partners on the fourth floor of the 12th and Morrison Building at 1155 S.W. Morrison St. The applicant is Ben Hufford of Design Department Architecture, the contractor is JR Abbott Construction Inc., and the owner is Morrison Development LLC.
  • A $600,000 alteration permit was issued for a fourth-floor tenant improvement of the Cascade Building at 520 S.W. Sixth Ave. The applicant is Matt Fitzgerald of GBD Architects, the contractor is Commercial Contractors Inc., and the owner is Felton Properties. A separate permit valued at $700,000 is under inspection for the building’s second floor; the applicant and contractor are the same.
  • A $532,877 alteration permit is under inspection for improvements to the lower level of the studio art building at Reed College, 3203 S.E. Woodstock Blvd. The project involves installation of new walls to create a mechanical room. The applicant is Ben Wenner of Total Mechanical, the contractor is Reimers & Jolivette Inc., and the owner is The Reed Institute.
  • An $807,000 mechanical alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for WeWork on the ninth and 13th floors of the Public Service Building at 920 S.W. Sixth Ave. The applicant is Jessica Storm of contractor MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions, and the owner is Public Service Building LLC.

Facility permit intakes for Aug. 13-19

  • A $500,000 alteration permit is under review for improvements to a UPS facility at PDX Logistics Center, 9601 N.E. Alderwood Road. The value-added revision includes installation of new rootop air units and associated ductwork. The applicant is Dave McCotter of contractor Hunter Davisson Inc., and the owner is the Port of Portland.
  • A $900,000 alteration permit is under review for a 15th floor tenant improvement at the Lloyd Center Tower building at 825 N.E. Multnomah St. A separate permit valued at $120,000 is also under review for a common restroom tenant improvement on the building’s 15th floor. The applicant is Whit Middlecoff of GBD Architects and the owner is Pacificorp; the primary contractor is out to bid.
