Building permits issued for Oct. 29-Nov. 4

  • A $1,000,000 demolition permit was issued for demolition of the Wapato Jail facility at 14355 N. Bybee Lake Court. The applicant is Jennifer Kimura of VLMK Engineering + Design, and the owner is Harsch Investment Properties via N Bybee Lake Court LLC.
  • A $1,024,635 new construction permit was issued for a new three-story, 12-unit apartment building at 420 N.E. Simpson St. The applicant is Nathan Arnold of Faster Permits, and the owner and contractor is Structure Redevelopment LLC.
  • A $2,247,462 new construction permit was issued for 24 units of a 30-unit multifamily complex of three-story buildings with lower-level private garages at 14775 N.E. Couch St. The applicant, owner and contractor is Reza Abedini.
  • A $21,125,000 new construction permit was issued for Wood Partners’ eight-story, 138-unit apartment building under construction at 1625 S.W. Alder St. The applicant is Stuart Spafford of Ankrom Moisan Architects, the contractor is Pavilion Construction, and the owner is Alta Burnside LLC.
  • An $8,720,948 new construction permit was issued on deferred submittal for curtainwall systems on an office project under construction at 250 S.W.   • A $19,329,950 new construction permit is under review for Miami-based developer Lennar Corp.’s 138-unit mixed-use apartment building at 815 W.   • A $1,979,000 alteration permit is under review for the remodel of 13 restrooms in concourses C, D and E of Portland International Airport at 7000 N.E. Airport Way. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the owner is the Port of Portland, and the primary contractor is out to bid.
  • A $667,000 alteration permit is under review for exterior renovations to an office building at 5550 S.W.
