Building permits issued for Nov. 5-11

• A $586,207 alteration permit was issued for improvements to the Wells Fargo Tower at 1300 S.W. Fifth Ave. Permitted work includes removal and replacement of exterior canopy and a section of curtainwall at a second-level entrance on the building’s west side, and installation of a new exterior sitting bench at the exterior lower-level plaza. The applicant is John Heinen of SERA Architects, the contractor is Turner Construction Company, and the owner is SOF-XI WFP Owner LLC of Greenwich, Connecticut.

Building permit intakes for Nov. 5-11

• A $1,824,500 addition permit is under review for replacement of a top-mounted antenna on a property at 5516 S.W. Barnes Road. The applicant is Gray Haertig of Gray Frierson Haertig & Associates, the contractor is Sultan, Washington-based Seacomm Erectors Inc., and the owner is Nexstar Broadcasting Inc. of Irving, Texas.

• A $550,000 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement to serve a credit union at The Union at St. Johns, a mixed-use building at 8191 N. Lombard St. The applicant is Marisa O’Gorman of Bainbridge, the owner is St John-4 LLC, and the primary contractor is out to bid.

• Two new construction permits, each valued at $566,000, are under review for enclosures at the Columbia Boulevard Wastewater Treatment Plant at 5003 N. Columbia Blvd: one 489-square-foot digester gas treatment system processing enclosure, and one 105-square-foot digester gas treatment system electrical enclosure. The applicant for both permits is Darin Wilson of the Portland Bureau of Environmental Services, the owner is the city of Portland, and the primary contractor is out to bid.

Sixth Ave. The work is to include demolition and installation of new walls to create locker rooms, office and conference space, a fitness area, bar, café, and lounge area. The applicant is Lauren Beuris of Ankrom Moisan Architects, the contractor is R&H Construction Co., and the owner is Portland 400 Sixth LLC of Foster City, California.

• A $2,000,000 grading permit is under review for grading and wetland and channel restoration on a commercial site at 12500 N.W. Marina Way. The applicant is Colin MacLaren of owner Portland General Electric, and the primary contractor is out to bid.
