Building permits issued for Nov. 26 – Dec. 2

  • A $790,000 new construction permit was issued for a three-story, six-unit apartment building at 6822 N.E. Grand Ave. The applicant is Bob Schatz of Allusa Architecture, and the contractor and owner is Firenze Development Inc.
  • A $4,715,420 new construction permit is under inspection for Artisan on Division, a new four-story multifamily building developed by Urban Asset Advisors at 3249 S.E. Division St. The applicant is Dan Williams of Faster Permits, the contractor is LMC Construction, and the owner is Division Two LLC.
  • An $8,754,012 new construction permit was issued for a six-story, 85-unit apartment building with ground-floor shell-only commercial space at 2351 N.E. 51st The applicant is Dan Williams of Faster Permits, the contractor is VWR Development LLC, and the owner is Sandy 51 Apartments LLC.
  • A $2,400,000 new construction permit was issued on deferred submittal for curtainwall systems on levels seven through 10 of Harsch Investment Properties’ 7 Southeast Stark project at 7 S.E. Stark St. The applicant is Molly Klier of contractor Hoffman Construction, and the owner is 87 Stark Street LLC.

Building permit intakes for Nov. 26 – Dec. 2

  • A $750,000 alteration permit is under review for the rehabilitation of an existing pool building at the Columbia Point West Condominiums at 319 N. Hayden Bay Drive. The project will include the remodeling of exercise, sauna and bathroom space, skylight and roof replacement, and a new exterior ramp and entry. The applicant is Robert Roth of RDH Building Science, Inc., the contractor is Charter Construction Inc., and the owner is Association of Unit Owners of Columbia Point West Condominiums.
  • A $3,610,296 new construction permit is under review for the Ankeny Apartments, a six-story, 16-unit building with ground-floor retail space at 1122 S.E. Ankeny St. The applicant is Yukari Kubo of Yost Grube Hall Architecture, the contractor is Eugene-based Vik Construction Company, and the owner is Rland Development Co LLC.

Facility permits issued for Nov. 26 – Dec. 2

  • A $1,979,000 alteration permit was issued for the remodel of 13 restrooms on concourses C, D and E at Portland International Airport, at 7000 N.E. Airport Way. The work is to include new ceilings, flooring, finishes, plumbing and electricity. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, and the owner is the Port of Portland. No contractor is listed.
  • An $875,000 alteration permit was issued for tenant improvements for Geosyntec and Ring Bender on the sixth floor of the Public Service Building at 920 S.W. Sixth Ave. The applicant is Jane Great of GBD Architects, the contractor is Russell Construction Inc., and the owner is Public Service Building LLC.
  • A $1,400,000 alteration permit was issued for a “cryo electron microscope” tenant improvement for Oregon Health & Science University at the Collaborative Life Sciences Building at 2730 S.W. Moody Ave. The applicant is Gary Hartill of ORANGEWALLstudios, the contractor is Hoffman Construction Co., and the owner is OHSU.

  • A $2,588,256 alteration permit is under review for improvements to the Columbia Square building at 111 S.W. Columbia St. Scop of work is to include ground-floor renovation for a future tenant, exterior demolition, site work, landscaping, grading and planters. The applicant is Erica Thompson of Hennebery Eddy Architects, the contractors are Turner Construction Co. and Alliant Systems, and the owner is Columbia Square LLC.
