The North Clackamas School District is soliciting bids for a renovation of Rex Putnam High School in Milwaukie.
BRIC Architecture has designed the project, which has an estimated value of $2.44 million. The project is being paid for with money from a $433 million capital bond approved by voters in 2016.
Improvements will involve (but are not limited to): classrooms, the building’s roof, the gymnasium, the football stadium, athletic fields and vehicle parking areas. The scopes of work covered by this request are extensive and all-inclusive.
Similar improvements are planned at other high schools in the district.
This project represents the second phase of . Construction of the first phase, a health center, finished in November 2017. Now, construction for phase 2 is set to start in January 2019.
All bids must be submitted to district officials no later than 2 p.m. on Dec. 13.
