Building permits issued for Dec. 24-30

• A $17,639,526 alteration permit was issued for the renovation of the C.K. Henry Building at 309 S.W. Fourth Ave. The work will include the additions of 24 sleeping units on levels one through six, a seismic upgrade, and a remodel of the six-story building. The applicant is Karin Wohlert of SERA Architects, the contractor is Colas Construction, and the owner is Central City Concern.

• Two separate alteration permits were issued for ground-floor commercial spaces in the C.K. Henry Building. The first, valued at $375,000, is for improvements to warm shell space occupied by Tandoor restaurant. The second is valued at $150,000 and includes back-of-house improvements to the warm shell space occupied by Starbucks. The applicant, owner and contractor are the same.

• A $680,000 new construction permit was issued on deferred submittal for storefront window systems on a mixed-use building under construction at 2865 N.E. Sandy Blvd. The applicant is Adam Thomas of San Diego-based contractor Fairfield Development Limited Partnership, and the owner is Fairfield Sandy Limited Partnership.

• A $680,226 addition permit is under review for an addition to an existing building at 1825 N.E. 108th Ave. The applicant is John Haswell of LRS Architects, the contractor is Joe Hughes Construction, and the owner is Oregon Baptist Retirement Homes.

Facility permits issued for Dec. 24-30

• A $700,000 alteration permit was issued for improvements for a Daimler Trucks North America building at 4859 N. Lagoon Ave., including a mezzanine, a new entry and windows. The applicant is Jason Tand of LRS Architects, the contractor is Seabold Construction, and the owner is John Estey.
