Building permits issued for Dec. 31-Jan. 6

• A $1,500,000 alteration permit was issued for the upgrade of all guest rooms at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Portland at 1000 N.E. Multnomah St. The applicant is Zac Horton of Faster Permits, the owner is DW Portland LLC of Houston, Texas, and the primary contractor is out to bid.

• A $644,136 alteration permit was issued for a renovation to the showroom of Jim Fisher Volvo at 2108 W. Burnside St. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is R&H Construction, and the owner is West 21 LLC.

• A $678,300 new construction permit was issued for a two-story building with ground-floor retail and live-work space and four second-floor residential units at 2477 S.E. 106th Ave. The applicant is Shea Gilligan of Brett Schulz Architect, the contractor is Collaborative Construction Solutions LLC, and the owner is Tram’s Division Inc.

• A $6,900,000 new construction permit was issued for a four-story, 63-unit apartment building at 1645 S.E. Work is to include selective demolition of existing site elements, roadway modifications to allow for the addition of an eight-lane toll plaza, and construction of a new single-story toll plaza building and adjacent canopy structure. • A $2,000,000 new construction permit was issued for construction of a new exit ramp from the Parking Additions and Consolidated Rental Car Facility (PACR) garage to an exit booth at Portland International Airport. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is JE Dunn Construction, and the owner is the Port of Portland.

• A $582,000 addition permit was approved for a tenant improvement for a restaurant and bar tenant at 4232 N. Williams Ave. The applicant is Corey Omey of EMA Architecture LLC, the contractor is O’Brien & Company, and the owner is Ruben J Menashe Inc.
